Right now I am in Dersingham and on Friday I travel to Essex and visit London for the day, then drive out to Heathrow on Saturday to fly home. I have managed to visit one SOHC4 forum member and see the Foale frame Honda he is building, and I ahve bought some parts whilst here.

Damn, I'm only half a hours drive from Tom with the Foale and I'll bet on your travels you were less than 7 minutes away from me. >:( Do you have a land line number I can phone you on? I'm going out around 9.20pm but could ring you tomorrow.

Sam. :(

Those brass velocity stacks of mine have only ONE BID at $50, that is 1/4 what they cost so they should fetch a bit more.

Or was I the only one mad enough to ever get brass velocity stacks made?

I am back in Australia on the 13th, so I reckon the bidding ends on the 15th - how does that sound?

I'll bid in at $65 on those stacks.

$100.00 USD incs shipping U.S.same as rods etc.

$100.00 USD,inc shipping U.S. same as others
Hope this helps Bear,me and ya'll!! ;) Bill
Remember,you can't take it with you,no trailer hitches!! ::) BID!!!,Bill

G'Day Bill, by way of a "bump", I'm fascinated by that midget engine. I've not had much to do with midget racing, by chopping off the OEM gearbox, I presume you mount a car type gearbox to the alternator end of the crank, and still run the ignition from it's original position?

My cuz has got the remains of a little Honda S600 sports car at his place, it was powered by a 600cc DOHC engine with 4 carbs, thru a 4 spd gearbox to a differential that sat beneath the drivers seat with chain drive to the rear wheels through enclosed chain cases that also acted as an IRS setup. The 600cc engine's were pretty fragile, but I'm thinking an aircooled 750 engine might be a nice replacement, providing it got enough cool air, and of course, it'd keep the car "All Honda", ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Hoping to have the rebuild done for the Manx which will include this grafted onto the 4:1 open pipes (way too noisy).

Thanks again,

Sam,
No problem here but Spa, Magny Cours, Brands ect are all a little more picky...!

The removable baffle means I now have an option :oD

The bike is something special, will post some pics and history when she is nearer completion.

Frank and the Team at the Thundersprint don't noise test, not sire how they get away with that but it does mean that the crowd gets the 'full' experience ;o)

Well I was walking out to my car to go to work this morning, and the Aussie Post delivery lady met me in the driveway with a box from Bill. Thanks mate, the RC distributor looks awesome, I'll carefully store it with Ray's RC295 cam and my other Cobra engine parts until I'm ready to build the engine. In the meantime I'll look for a new cap, points and rotor button to get it ready to go back into service after it's long sleep in the Batcave! Thanks again Bill, I'm a happy bidder! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Alex, if a noise complaint is made, It's made to the Local Council or the County Council. (OK, you knew that ;D )
In the case of Frank and the Thundersprint, it's the Local AND County Council that pay Frank to put it on, that's why there is no charge for any of the up to 140,000 spectators. It's claimed that they put over £1 million into the Northwich economy.
Now here's somthing that you didn't know,  ;D Frank and myself are sorta half Brothers, his Mother sorta adopted me when my Mother died in the 60s, the best two mums I ever had. 8)
