Very nice Harvest classic. It was a real pleasure to meet new and connect with old friends here.
Camped with some of the SOHC4 folks.
The line up of bikes in our neck of the woods.

Before we even made it out of Fredricksburg there was some impromptu repair on a gas cap.

Did a run up 16 to Enchanted rock State park. and then a return to Fredburg on Lower Crabapple rd. Nice riding all the way.
Looking down at Enchanted Rock from 16. This is about 2 weeks earlier.

Our gang outside the gates.

Stev-O's and my bike outside the park.

Back in town for lunch and then we split up. Visited friends out there so didn't make it back for the bike show.
I know Stev-O and CBGhia made it back in time. I hope they post some good pictures.
Made it back for the Bar-B-Q and the movie.
The Alamo draft house has a 40' inflatable screen and a projection setup in a cube truck.
So they setup in any open field.
TT3D: Closer To The Edge. TT3D : Closer To The Edge - Official Trailer [HD]
During the rider camera shots would find myself cornering in my chair.
Always bring a chair!
Sunday morning everybody is packing up and the sun comes shining thru.

Thanks for a great time everybody!
Steve

All Barbered out, but maybe this will be on the fall virtually endless summer vacation  circuit next year.  One can only hope.

Thank you, sir.  I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the SOHC4 gang.  My third year straight was the best yet, and I owe it all to the neighbors.

Pecantree - Nice write up, thanks. Sorry no pics of the show.

Jeff - good meeting you. Although you dont have a SOHC [yet!] you are always welcome here.  Hope you can make our ride in April on the 3 Sisters roads...

I'm keeping April in reserve for 3 sisters and MotoGP (assuming it'll be in April next year as well).

Jeff,

I am so glad you got on here.  I was helping my buddy patch the tube and then I noticed you were gone before I got to swap numbers and I did not know how I was going to get a hold of you again. You will have to come out to the fort worth bike night soon!

As you guys recall, my K8 went dead after the ride Sat nite.

Pulled the switch, jiggled the wires and I have connection!

I'll clean it up good, a little di grease, and should be good for another 5 years or so?!

Thanks.  Although there were a few issues on our ride, the two flat tires, fuel leak, blown fuse nor Joes gas cap incident stopped us from having a great ride!

This could be an easy one if not for Rick Lance's fall  open house is coming up, maybe just after Barber.  Probably the same dates, but I'm not seeing anything on the web yet.

Joe - We should meet up at 2pm Friday for a ride.

Sadly, I have a conference at my kid's school on Friday at 11.  I am going to leave directly from there.  I was planning on riding down, but now it looks like I will drive down in the truck but probably will not be there until 4 or 5.  I will bring my little stove so we should be able to make some breakfast both days!
Make sure you get us a good spot, Steve!

Right next to the traffic..  :)

I'll try to ride out Friday afternoon and I'll be there Saturday for sure. No camping for me.
I still have your number, I'll let you know I'm around if I can't find you.
