Oh yea, duh.  I had to read it again.  Yes, a beast it is!  That's the largest bike you have owned I think.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

At Luckenbach last Tuesday, coming back from a camping trip.
Stopped and had lunch.
The grass is nice and green from the recent rains. Very beautiful!

Just started a new job today, will have to beg out early on Friday.

Am wondering if any folks from the DFW area are gonna ride down on Friday?
Or trailering?
Working in Grapevine and gonna try to get off on Friday.
Was thinking of 16 down to Fredburg and then over to Luckenbach.
Steve

16 is a great road compared to dfw traffic. Highly reccomended, but fill up , gas vendors  aren't as plentiful and  on some days far apart.

16 is a long way round (rode back up that way after the last rally). I am going to be taking 281 down to 290.

Looks like it is going to be pissing on us the whole way down, though.

Done 16 many times by truck from Ft. Worth to Kerrville.
Love that road.
Last year was working in Arlington, Couldn't make it to Harvest.
This year working close to home. Taking off after lunch Friday and heading out.
Raining right now in Austin, ground will be really soaked out there.
But, everything will be greening up.

Yes, it looks like dust won't be a problem this year.  I'll be out on Saturday on the bike if it's dry, in the truck if it's wet.
Too busy at work for Friday and Sunday I gotta go out of town for a week.

That Arlington/Grapevine  job blew up.  A group was making a christen football movie.
They ran out of money and pulled the plug. Walked away without two weeks pay.
Plus lots of vendors never got paid. In 25+ years this is only time the money never showed up.
I've had the plug pulled but have always been paid!

Anyway, leaving from Austin around 1Pm, will hit Luckenbach around 2:30 to 3.
I'll PM you my number, save me a camp spot. It rained again all day yesterday.
I wouldn't camp in the low spots.

Ride safe!
