Having never met anyone here, do I look for a pack of Hondas parked by some tents?  I'll be on my V-twin bobber in my profile pic.  Rigid frame, springer front end, shotgun exhaust, flat black with white stripes on the tank.

I'm in the same boat but I told Steve-o to look out for me and he knows what my bike looks like.

I see you're in Conroe.  I'm on the south side of Houston, near Pearland.

I'll be heading out tomorrow about noon with a buddy.  We're staying the night in Kerrville.  We're going to try to get to the rally early Saturday morning.

Don't be talking smack about my rigid.  It's a man's bike and not for everyone.  I've owned it since '07 and have put a bunch of miles on it.  It was my daily rider up until a year ago, when I finally had to bite the bullet and buy a cage, but I still ride it a lot.  I rode this bike to Sturgis and back in '11.  All the two wheeled lazy boy riders I talked to thought a trailered it up there.  I'm riding it to Sturgis again in '15...and I ain't no spring chicken either.  Besides it helps shake the kidney stones loose.

Just finished spending 4 hours chasing down a trailer light gremlin. Trailer re-wired and was a ground all along. I knew better but logic escapes me when I am stressed and tired. Still have to get the bike put back together before we leave in the morning.

Okay, I take it back.  Some bikes made  hardtail are practically unrideable. One guy said he rode 30 miles to a bar  he worked at, and decided it would be better to get a ride home.

Sounds like you're right at home on yours.

Great seeing everyone!  I had a blast!  That was the biggest Harvest turnout, I think.
Budman, I liked your rigid.  That is a cool bike.
Met a bunch of new friends on all types of bikes, and got to see a bunch more that I have not seen since last Harvest.  Good times. Can't wait til next year!

Was an awesome weekend.  The ride to the rock was great. Been to Fredericksburg many times but never made it to the rock.  I didn't catch everyone's name or forum handle. Was hoping to  spend a little time checking out the CB750s up close since mine was in pieces when I got it, but time got away and I was having too much fun.

So what did you end up with, Steve?

Does anyone know if the $50 weekend pass includes a Toadies ticket?  The Toadies website is selling tickets for $25.

Hey Bud...I would bet it does since it is listed as an activity on the Harvest Classic website [link above].
Registration is a little higher than last year, this may be one of the reasons.
Plan to spend a little more time with us this year, ok?! Want to hear your wild Sturgis stories!

I wrote to the Harvest Classic folks and the show is included with the weekend pass.

We're riding in Thursday night.  We're going to try to stay in Fredericksburg.  Probably go for a long ride on Friday, eat dinner and head to the show.  We'll be around Saturday too.

I don't have too many wild Sturgis stories.  It was a lot of fun though.

Thanks budman for the info. Is anyone riding out from the Houston area Thursday or Friday? If I can get my bike sorted out I would like to ride out there.

I plan to be in Luchanbach by 11am to claim our camping spot [hopefully same as last year]

Then game for a long ride with you guys.

Cool.  We're talking about spending Thursday night in New Braunfels now so we won't be riding so late.  We should be getting into Fredericksburg around mid morning on Friday.  That could workout.
