Thanks Bill much appreciated, calj737 That seems to fit with what I gathered from GRIPACE HQ.  I think he said he believed  the controller survived and any faults would likely be in the Switch Pad.  I'll let you know how it all pans out.

Still having issues with the Grip Ace Controller and Rick's Motorsport Electric Rectifier/Regulator.  I had all the lights working but the PDM60 would not trigger an off signal to all the circuits? It has a positive trigger wire and as suggested connected to a switched 12v source (Black).  Turned on fine but wouldn't turn off with out disconnecting the Black switched 12v wire.  Part of the light issues were that both the controller right/left turn signal wires and the High/Low beam wires were switched from the instructions????  Took me months to figure that one out as I would get frustrated with it all and walk away for awhile.

Then last night as I was happily tiddling up some connectors everything just went south and the controller is not passing the 12v out to the selected sub circuits.  I will try one more time when I get the time then the dam thing is going back and see if the manu. can figure it out.

The real reason I'm here is trying to figure out why the Ipad App for this sight cant find this Tsunami string?  So when I send this it should show up on the main page and allow me to enter that way.???  wish me luck!  Hope your all will.

Don, may be time to update the Mantra "There are some things nobody needs in this world, and a $119,000, 200+ horsepower, blacked out, ball buster like this Confederate P51 Combat Fighter Motorcycle is one of them! :o  If Hunter had seen one of these he just may have sold the ranch to park one in his living room.  Only  needs a sissy bar to keep you in the seat or a rocket assisted ejection system to save your life!  8)

Don't know if anyone else is still watching, Its been 11 months since my last confession!  To much to talk about now but have finally worked out most of the electrical.  I have Headlight, turn signals, tale light, horn, and starter (turns over) all through the custom switch. PDM 60 works properly.  Also brake light, oil light, instrument lights, neutral light. Need to sort out a Ricks Motorsports rec/reg #10-100.  Pretty sure I have the yellow, red/white, red, white wires but need to confirm the black and two green wires?  Anyone do one of these other than the plug and play one? Then I will be ready to put in the oil, rig up the AUX fuel tank and start this sucker.  Prey for me.  Hope your all well, THIS IS THE YEAR!

The 2 green wires are ground wires. One was in the plug when you received it, and that connects opposite the stator GREEN wire from the large 8-way plug. The other Green, was loose and plugged into the stock socket for the Regulator. That simply needs to go to a good, solid ground.

The Black needs to be connected to the switched 12v circuit from your key (use the Black for convenience).

Don, I ran across a recent thread of your beloved CB750, Don! say it ain't so, Don Say it ain't so?   :'(

I must say that Thruxon is a work of art.  I'm out of purgatory now- I reached Ricks Motorsports this morning finally and a great fella finally set me straight.

Calling the fin side the top, the top row of wires are
White...................White (Field Wire)
Yellow (3).............Yellow
Green...................Green (Field Wire)

The bottom 3 wires,
Green..................Ground (bike green)
Black...................Switched 12v (black)
Red.....................Un Switched 12v (Red/White)

That should fix the last on the electrical (need to switch a couple of wires and put the panel back together.

Now I can check to be sure I have spark at the plug, start getting the aux tank & fuel lines set up. Check a lot of this and that, get the oil in grab a couple of buddies to watch different areas for oil leaks and smoking wire then get ur done!!!yes yes yes!!!

Wish I could do a dyno break in but don't know of a bike shop that has the equipment.  Plus finding a trailer to get it there, etc.

We'll get a meet up yet!

My 10-100 came without plugs as the placement required me to make my own.  Its mounted upside down under a plate under the seat. No recent photos but you get the idea, I had to dump the boush plug but its very similar.

Was to place this on your reply,

I reached Ricks Motorsports this morning finally and a great fella finally set me straight.

Thanks, hope you and yours are well and enjoying the CA sunshine.  I finished my boat last August, 1 day before the closed down Folsom Lake near me so I got one short ride there and a couple of other small reservoir's in the area.  Today was the 1st time out this year and their talking closing the lake August 5.  This sucker was over flowing this year and they drained it off for the farmers down the valley.  Any who it ran well. I do have a couple of wires for the sound system and pre charge the capacitor and that will be that.  What ever will I do for myself with all this extra time I will have, maybe I'll get a thruxton too, maybe an Indian? Naaa sell them both and get a motorhome, ya that's the ticket.  Just kidding as usual.

Yes, I retired the 750 from my collection two nights ago. I was planning to sell it to help out a friend with health problems but thankfully he had a cancer false positive and is okay. So, when the deal was proposed for a trade, and my buddy was in the clear, I was already emotionally detached about the 750.

I still have my running 550  and plenty of other CB projects.

How do I get a message to Hondaman with a photo?  I find his pm but nothing comes up to attach a photo?  Trying to find out if the hole in the case is supposed to be there. Its in the area where the shifter mech is?

 That is a stock hole for oil passage.  What you are seeing around the edges, are just rough flashing from the  casting process.

Bill!  Funny as always, are you thawed out from last winter?  How was your riding season?  Weren't you building some turbo to go faster than you should? Harley bars yes epitome of ape hangers. If you think that one is funny check out this .gif.  Don't know if that's possible but lets find out!  Always nice to hear friendly voices. Start my motorcycle what a concept! I'm dropping the pan to prime the oil pump tomorrow.  After that the cameras will be rolling for sure, Ill keep you updated.

Good information.  That's the only kit I have seen anywhere so will bite the bullet, if I'm taking the pump out might as well do it now, certainly wont hurt any.  I just pray priming the pump is my issue.

Again I spoke too soon about the start up, cant do that until the pump rebuild kit comes in. Duhhhh

yes I built a 890 engine but took a break from it so maybe this winter.we had a great summer but it is coming to an end once more.funny vid ,billp

 :) 8)Well an update is in order. I'm getting so close! It feels like Christmas when I was a kid. Last time I started the engine (on the rack) I had no oil pressure.  :(  Subsequent test's indicated no oil to the top end, checked to see if I had the lines on as they should be and they were. I found a cut out picture of the oil system, the first place it goes is to the filter.  I removed and inspected and it appears as it should be. Well push comes to shove it was time to pull the pump. >:( In so doing I had to loosen the exhaust to gain clearance too the two screws on the right side. I ordered a rebuild kit as long as I was going to pull it.  Close to $50, I later found out I could have purchased a complete pump with all new parts and tested for $62.50 or so. I'm still waiting for the kit.  Meanwhile I educated myself to the whys and where fore's of the pump. My neighbor suggested to see if the plunger that keeps the oil from filling the crankcase when the pump is off would move?    Not wanting to scratch anything I removed the end piece and spring to see if it was loose. shook it, nope. Gave it a little rap on the bench, no joy, didn't budge, tried again a little harder, no luck.  Found a small plastic dowel and pressed it from the inside out and it began to move and definitely was dragging.  So I figure after sitting in the garage for 3.5 years something may have dried out and kept it from moving to pass oil. New parts and a good prime and hope I'm in business. I'm happy that Tsunami started right up and made a joyous sound The parts will not arrive until the 23rd, I won't have any finger nails left until they do arrive. Meanwhile in order to actually ride it I have to tidy up a few things, bleed the brakes, air up the tires, do a check to see that everything that should be tight, is. Also need to source someone to paint the tank which should have been done long ago. Since the custom painter wanted $2200 I'm searching for alternatives or I will have to set up the paint room and try it again. I did a pre- launch test of the electrical system including getting all the wiring back into the light bucket. I did but it was really tight and in the process managed to disconnect the horn and the kill switch connectors.  Pulled it all out again and plugged the two so everything works. I may have to remake some lines shorter or find a bigger bucket.  The bucket it had on it originally was plastic with a well-worn covering of whatever they used to make it shine like chrome.  I bought a Kawi bucket because it was metal and had a great finish on it. Front to back though it was shorter. :'(

So that's as much as I can remember these days. So if and when I  F-I-N-A-L-L-Y  get it started I will be recording from two vantage points and will pop it onto Utube for all to see.
