Well, it finally arrived at midnight Thursday
The shipper told me he would call Thursday to let me know if he'd be here then or Friday. I was at work when he called at 7:30. He asked if I was available that night, told him I worked till 10 so anytime after 10;30 would be good. He said I was thinking more like midnight, said fine with me and sure enough he was right on time. He had a big diesel dually pulling a rather large enclosed trailer(sorry no pics ) with a car and 3 motorcycles inside, actually could have had more bikes. The car was a Fiero with a Ferrari kit body and the other bikes were of the dirt variety. I did him a favor by taking the deliver at midnight as he would have had to find a place to stay.
No damage to the bike other than the aforementioned missing windshield-already ordered to the tune of 100. No sense claiming the Uship insurance as it was a 500 deductible.
Looks like a scooter on steroids, doesn't it? Put some floorboards on and you have a scooter, but 800cc
. It is an 800ccc V-twin, smooth and powerful enough for a 66 year old. Handles fairly well, easy to balance at low speed-I have a 29" inseam and can stand flat foot at a stop. Very comfy seat, easy to put on the centerstand, excellent seat/handlebar position.
