We took a ride over to South Dakota back in July. My brother was on his Ultra, Steve on his CTX1300, and I had the Road King. Here are a few pix -
First stop was at the Lowman, ID Mercantile to give them some business and take a little break after negotiating the very twisty ID21 on a warm day -

We were tenting it as usual. First night was at Wisdom, MT in the American Legion campground. Beautiful spot. Bring your bug repellent -

County fairgrounds in Roundup, MT has a fine campground. No picnic table, but there were some handy rounds laying around to eat off of -

Can't remember which one this was. Might have been one of the KOAs around Spearfish. Nice spot though. We were right next to a creek, but there were no bugs -

This one is at Cody, WY, at the Ponderosa Campground. The nice thing about this one is, while it is mainly an RV park, you go past the RV's, down a steep, winding road to the tent area along a creek. Close to town, but you'd never know it -

Back to Wisdom on the final night -

For the piknikkers among us -

A few photos in Custer State Park in South Dakota -

I have never ridden through the Black Hills without getting rained on. There is a reason why the area is so green -
