I must confess I too have been afflicted. I have a 77 and a 78 550K. And I spend every available moment looking for a great deal on a 750.

Ok its been 6-7 years since my last bike,so I was due. Internet sites peeked my urge even more. (dealsgap) So I scoured my country side and found my soon to be 77 550 k. That night I find SOHC 4 . Well the rest is rider bliss.... Haaa

I am now down to 3 cb550's and 3 cb750's
(from 4 & 9 respectively)
so the rehab program is working.

Still not sure who's fault it is thogh.

i'd rather have an sohc4 in front of me than a bad dope habit thats costing me much more. you all should go out and get a real addiction and then realize that these bikes are keeping us sane.

I'd better whisper this in case the Norton crowd hear me.

The sohc experience has been so upbeat and positive for this newbie (13 weeks and counting, 8,000+km) that I am actually asking myself why I didn't do it long ago. I mean, the bikes have been around for as long as I have been riding....

I just can't imagine selling Silver Sophie and have already got a list of things in my head that I would like to do to her. Sorry, that didn't sound right. There are a few modifications I would like to make to her to improve her even more.....and it's all the fault of being a member of this forum, bless you all!!!!

SPEND TOO MUCH TIME ON FORUM - Cuts into my bike working time

Ignore all my other "social obligations"

I've only been looking at the site and posts for a couple of weeks since I bought my bike. It is addicting. Just bought a like-new bike....but now...I feel like looking for a project bike. bigger. 500? 750? Seriously, I really would like to find something to work on during the winter.

my name is john. the fact that i even remember my name makes me feel real lucky cause sometimes i think my name is vroom.
VROOM doesn't give a damn about birthdays or holidays or brushing his teeth...
VROOM doesn't care about his job except that it's the only way to get money for parts and goodies.
VROOM feels pain on cool nights when the bike is up on the blocks and he wants to breathe free.
