It's warming up and my unheated garage is a bit tolerable. The carbs... what didn't they get. Fortunately they were pretty clean as they were running pretty good the fall of 2010.
These got all genuine honda parts as follows. Gasket set, float valve set, needle jets, jet needles, slow and main jets, rubber o rings... I'm forgetting something.
April May June 2011- wow! time got away on me.
Not many pictures showing the detail I'm afraid. The filter box I drilled per Hondaman and used a K&N filter. I found a GL1000 brake master and completely rebuilt it in anticipation of a dual disc.
I ordered Cycle X fork tubes and filled them with new Progressive springs and new fork seals plus new top tube caps. New progressive springs as well.

Now we cooking with gas... or whatever that expression is.
I buggered the bearing retainer thread on the rear lester....careless, in a rush... I dont know. I knew better. I later found a machinist to fix that but in the mean time, I threw the old spokes on to keep the momentum.
