This is an electric bike entrant from the AHRMA event this year in NJ.

Interesting clear front fairing edition... and the makeshift window unit AC unit to cool the bike down.

We're on the road. Meeting up with the team in Evanston, WY this evening for the final drive to The Salt in the morning. Weather reports look great.

My take: if no mechanical issues Old Scrambler will have 2 new records in the books. The 250 record is already his and that should go up. The standard 750 class record of 125mph was set 2 years back by the Japanese team rider (actually with the name of Honda) with a basically stock but tuned 750 early F engine running a Yamiya copy Yoshimura Daytona cam and 0.5mm over. Dennis should blow that away as his is no where near stock. He's also going to run in the fairing class. Don't know anything about that class.

Rolled in this afternoon. Pit set up. Registration, inspection and fuel in the early morning. Racing starts Sunday. MUCH confidence for 3 class records. Hot and dry weather. Everyone is excited. I now have to return home on Tuesday so I'll get to see 2 days with the 750 going first.

Don't have a clue how to post pics to the forum from a phone.

HOWEVER...

First pass in modified partial streamlined was 137. This will be a record after he does the return run.

Ignore the first pic , LMAO,  all means nothing! Lol.

::) ::) What it means is that Dennis' bike will only be producing 85-86% of the peak 76.24 SAE corrected rear wheel horsepower recorded on the dyno. :P ;)

Does anyone know what the previous record was for partial streamlined 750? Is Dennis going to make any more tries in PS, or is he moving on to try to break the 125 MPH record for un-streamlined?

3rd run with 1 more tooth on the front was 137.199. One more sprocket adjustment in the morning. Back down 1 on the front and 1 or 2 on the rear after which the 125 record falls.

DA on last run was 6890.

Open record.

Hottern fuk Frank. Upper 80s is enough on The Salt.

Wait in line? Last run we stopped for 20 seconds and went directly to staging. 3 bikes in staging at 4:30.

Not too shabby for a 749!
