I'll go with Croatia because England deserves and wants to be disappointed yet again.  :)

Oh Lordy. Sorry for your troubles there Simon. I thought the Croatians were like Energiser Bunnies all through the match and extra time.

Eh bien, allez les Bleus en tout cas, comme ils disent !!

Oh not so bad , reaching the last four in the World Cup . It's a young team and a new manager so we can give them time . I suppose I will be cheering for the old enemy on Sunday now !

That's the condition when I've generally had the best of it. Trouble is, the recollection is quite poor.  :-\

Croatia looked tough -- a little on the thuggish side, but the ref didn't want to call #$%*e until late into the game.  The young lads from England put up an admirable fight.  They will be even better in four years (in lousy Qatar!).

I'm going with France (I cannot believe I'm saying that) only because they play a slightly cleaner game and their forward line is ridiculously good.  Mbappe is THE energizer bunny.

Aww C'mon, what would a tournament be without a plate match?

Belgium played really well throughout the tournament. No shame in losing to them. England has a really young team and they probably went further than many expected.
Anybody who played soccer as a kid and played his heart out, for the love of the game, must just love this tournament and the outcome so far! The last four teams made it that far without any single superstar or "primadonna". For me, after Germany was out, it would have been great to see Belgium vs Croatia in the final.

I think it would have been rad to see an England/France matchup for the cup.

We have a whole mess of british ex-pats at work and I'm sure they're kicking themselves for flubbing it.  Now they can get back to worshipping Man U.

The final was a good game, as the Croatians decided to not play as dirty as in previous matches. Congratulations to France, they deserved it.
