Calling all SOHC4 members making the trip to Barber Vintage Race weekend, we have been meeting with all SOHC4 folks at the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club display each evening at 6 pm. Kickstands-up at 6:15 pm to ride out to eat dinner somewhere. Worked out good in previous years, lots of folks to meet after years of 'seeing' them on the forum !.... Mark ?, Nikkisix ? JTB ?

By display, do you mean the big table they have or somewhere around the bikes?

For the last few years the VJMC folks have had a spot almost to the 'back' gate opposite  from the entrance to the 'Fan Zone'...... just follow the circuit road around from whatever camp site your in......  :)

I'm good with the VJMC location (and I'll renew my subscription there again) but I wanted to make sure I didn't miss the group.  I'll be the middle-aged white guy with the ratty beard and old motorcycle in case anyone sees me.

The VJMC area is moving this year according to the most recent issue of their magazine. Says they "have been given a new larger location in Lot A ..."  On another note, I got my ticket in the mail and it seems to imply I have access to Ace Corner too.  I know I didn't select that when I bought my ticket so I guess I'll stop by there too and see if my ticket is good....

I'll see you there at least one night.  OFMC is raffling an 81 Yamaha XS850 Triple on the twelfth.  We've rebuilt everything except the motor which runs good.  $5.00 per chance, only 1000 tickets.

Got up to Tellico Plains in June.  Would love to make another run up there if any of you TN guys want to.  I've got to camp in a room with a bathroom, though.

One of the guys that we ride cross country  with works at the University and some tailgater got too Drunk or something  and forgot their Easy Up and left it abandoned on school property.  So anyway, he had to remove it and another, and  one of them got kicked down to keep in the Van.

You'll see us, the Sprinter van with the Sooners  EZ-up, surrounded by Crimson Tide people as they pelt us with rocks and garbage. Kinda neat how the sooners screwed the odds makers by drubbing  Bama and putting them out to dry at the end of the season last year.

Making my list, checking it twice :)

I have this idea to ride the Tail on the way there and Cherohala parkway on the way home ... plans of mice and men :)

Still deciding if I want to take 81 - which is faster, but crazy busy or 29 I know and like but it hits few towns and is slower.
