Jerry.......does that mean if no one arranges to pick him up at Wendover.............he goes home with you?

So..............who is going to meet GZ in Wendover between August 29 and September 2nd?  We will be competing on the Bonneville Salt Flats during the day from Sunday through Wednesday. We are staying at the Knights Inn this year.

I might come down there again if no one else steps forward.  Mooshie says she wants PZ again.  Maybe I could pass it on the her somewhere out west. I'll see how it plays.

Naw, I'm talking GRAND DADDY GZ v1.0, The Original. He told me if he can't ride on a 750 he'd prefer to catch a ride in an AC'd C6 GS Vette but he wants to come home after Bonnie. He's retired too  ;) HOWEVER he said he's gonna have a talk with this weirdly dressed grandson and orientation. Mentioned something about 'kids these days!'. WTF!

Count me in Greg. Would love to meet you and ride about.  Let me know when and where.  So glad PZ is on the move again.  After all these years I finally rebuilt my master cylinder (did it all by myself --I am very proud  ;D. It was quite easy)and now Dash actually stops.  Who knew?

Let's ride, let's ride, let's ride!!!

Don't take Dash on the Salt, it would cause him to have a bad case of high BP. Not to mention if that salt managed to work its way into crevices of the frame, way too caustic.

Congrats on the success of your rebuild on the MC. Toughest thing sometimes is getting the circlip out.
Did it need honed? Or,  were you able to suffice with just a new seal kit?
There's a repro part on ebay out of Thailand I believe that lots of cx500 riders have used. It has worked well and been good quality. It is a round reservoir as well so it is stock looking.

Congrats again!

Jerry,  forgot about granddad...
PZ is colorful and manages to charm the ladies.  Some of the ladies have managed to get him very drunk and have dressed him when he wasn't able to protest.
His sense of fashion is far more "progressive", if that's the right word for it, than more conservative dressers would choose.

BTW, Wendover Army Airfield is historic as it had quite the history during WWII. Involved in shape testing for the atomic bombs and development of loading methods as well as being a bomber and fighter training base and having a huge gunnery and bomb range on the salt flats.

Glad he made the trip OK.

I didn't include any food or water with him. Hopefully the conditions weren't too bad when he got out of the box!

Mooshie, just come on over to Wendover!

I had to look up Wendover  :)  Utah.  That's not so far.  What is the plan?  I think we need to get a trip plan going.  PZ being shipped is a bit of a crime.

I'll follow your lead, whatever you want to do.  Right now you are the only other person who wants to ride.

We're racing!  ;D  Thats the plan. I won't be on a bike though, 4 wheel travel. Hoping Greg will ride in.

Wendover, NV is closer than Wendover, UT  ;)

There is more than 1 Wendover?  Hmmmm.  So you are speaking of Nevada?  When is this?

Wendover is in Utah.  West Wendover is in Nevada.  From orbit, it is tough to tell where one ends and the other begins.

Ooops. I just mentioned to my wife that I was thinking of going down to the salt flats the last weekend of August.  She reminded me we've already said we'd go to the family reunion up in western Washington the same weekend.  I'd rather ride the 750 to Utah, but family duty calls.  Sorry Jerry, maybe next year.  I was looking forward to meeting Mooshie and the famous Dash too.

The BMST event at the salt-flats is ON........despite recent rain and shallow water conditions.............less than last year ;D ;D ;D

I leave in the early AM of August 26th..................so what are the plans for GZ to get into Wisconsin?............and who is going to meet me in Wendover for the exchange.  I will be travelling this weekend and Johnie and other friends want to have time with the lizard while he is in Wisconsin.  It would be great if we could meet him sometime on Friday or Saturday (21st-22nd) at the latest.

I will be in Wendover from late on August 28 to September 2nd................or GZ will be going for a Corvette ride with Jerry to Colorado Springs.
