i too have run 10's with these heads ported, stock valves an springs ,shimmed up
Haha of course not. Yours in the box marked Bear's heads! Bill
OK, a deal for someone, cylinder head for $225.00 shipped 48 states, best I can do, Bill
I had to mill my F2 head .060" to get the chamber volume the same as earlier K head. Running 10.5 :1 cycle x 970 K pistons. You also have to have brass bushings installed in some of the cylinder stud holes in the head so you dont have oil leaks.
RR..........take a look at the 915 kit from Dynoman for the F2-3 motors. I used CB900C rods with J&E 62mm pistons and installed a squish-band on the perimeter of the head except at the valves where it is not needed. No decking other than a few thou to get level. Note the egg-shape of the chamber perimeter. Compression is 12:1+ when cold.
My opinion. The 410 head is the best option for a motor that size Retro.Cheers,Brian
not sure if im doing this right, can't figure out how to post question. I have a 1970 cb750 head no cam or towers can i get them from another head same year and have them work.
I've been using the 750 DOHC pistons with their shoulder turned off 1.5mm, about 1/4" in, with the K7/8 and F2/3 heads. It makes the CR about 9.2:1 on the F, and about 9.5:1 on the K7/8 head. I also mill the heads a bit, about 0.5mm.
