Yep they are flying me back and forth... Its not a bad gig, I like working from planes anyway

That's cool. Do you have any possessions here or do you just stay in Hotels? There's lots of good riding up here.

Here is the latest update from the Monoshocker project. I have the rear cowl wireframe done, next step is to finish the gas tank that will fit the look.

Im also considering making the cowl/seat and the gastank as 1 piece so it comes off as a unit and there will be no gap between the seat and the tank..


Amazing work!

May be a PITA to have to remove the tank just to get to all the bits underneath the seat.  Have you thought of having an ugly utilitarian gas tank and make a single integrated false tank cover integrated into the seat?  So you can remove it all without worrying about draining or disconnecting the fuel tank?

I had never shaped metal before reaching out to Christian Sosa. he puts on classes a few times a year and i snagged a spot in one of them. It was 3 days of very hard hands on training, but we hit it off and Ive ben out there to Vegas a couple more times. As you probably know, the bike builder community is a pretty small one, especially the guys who are doing crazy custom work. I went out a few times in LA with them and met pretty much everyone I looked up to in the scene haha

long story short: take a class with some legit dudes and pick their brains

That's cool. Do you have any possessions here or do you just stay in Hotels? There's lots of good riding up here.

I don't have anything up there at all. if the weather was nicer I would buy a bike to keep up there but its only doable in the summer

This bike wont be used for much commuting or street service, and being a PITA is kinda what it is good at, so I think I will just put up with the draining/disconnecting :P

great advice! up until 2 years ago, I never even thought these things were in my sphere of existence. I'll have to look into it.
