It's probably doing fine mate, I'm constantly amazed at how good Motobatt batteries are, the one in my Harley Sportster was installed by the PO so I don't know how old it is, but I've only had it on the charger once in 15 months, when it had been sitting, unridden for around 6 months? I'll install Motobatt's in all my bikes eventually. Cheers, Terry. ;D

We are having a real winter here in SW Idaho.  Out in the desert yesterday in the faithful '81 Toyota.  Got stuck in a couple of drifts for a bit.  About 15F.

That looks about right for Idaho - it is winter after all.

Seattle has been in the meat locker for a while now.  Snowed on Saturday, froze on Sunday, today the roads were coated in ice from the melting snow.  Not expected to warm until at least ... March.  It is winter after all :)

Bike/s are just going to have to wait until the ice clears up.

Oh holy #$%* it got cold last night!  Its showing 55 degrees (farenheit) INSIDE my tiny travel trailer.  Real glad I put on the extra sheets and blankets last night or else I would have woke up cold.
Waking up cold pisses me off.

Guess I'm bringing out the old heater to supplement the newer one.  Fark!

It IS Al Gore's fault he invented the internet that the Russians used to hack everything.  Why haven't they hacked our accounts to deposit money in our accounts since they are playing Robin Hood to rob from the rich and give to the poor.

And my savings interest rate could benefit from a couple extra zeroes too.  Currently 2.3%, how about 230,000%?!?!  Yeah that's not too much to ask is it?

Bankers are just evil oppressive mathematicians ain't they?  None of their "money" is backed by any security save the labor of humans willing to "earn" it.  It is purely a binary function inside a computer algorithm.  Just look at what India did recently, they invalidated their own cash notes (to prevent tax fraud they say) then boosted an electronic payment processing company as some official government agent (aka; monopoly).
Their economy has taken a collective sh!t because of that switch to (partially) cash leas society.

But I digress.

Well it's currently 99 deg F outside, and I had to come inside from the garage because I was sweating like a rapist. The ice in my Chivas is melting so quickly I'm thinking of telling Greenpeace so they can investigate it for me! Oh well, in a day or two it'll be much nicer bike weather, so it'll be good to get out on the bikes before I need to go back to work in a week or so. ;D

Terry, your hi temp rapist sweats have pissed me off.  As I'm sitting inside a tin can that is currently 44 degrees. 
Because my old man decided to insert his little power consumption gadget on my main electrical cord!  Not that he would have gotten a consumption reading cause the heaters shut off and stayed off all the frozen day!  Then when I turn em back on, guess what - his little gadget lost its magic smoke.
Now my pops is pissed off too!
 If I'm lucky, the heaters will have me up to a more tolerable 65 degrees by the time I decided to go to sleep.

Fcuk that mate, Melbourne winters are bad enough, although Canberra is way worse, I remember riding my bikes to work in -5 deg C temps only a few months ago, that kind of weather really tends to keep your brain alert, and I remember not feeling like I had enough blankets and doona's to keep the cold out, but that seems like years ago now, when it's still over 90 deg F at 8pm as I type this! Oh well, in only 6 months or so I'll be whining about the cold, so I may as well try to enjoy it! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Minus 11F here at the house Friday morning, 6 below this morning, plus 15 inches of snow in the yard (not counting drifts), with more on the way.  That's a lot of snow for here.  Supposed to warm up the the low 30's so we can enjoy some freezing rain in a couple of days.  My driveway was impassable (even got the CJ5 stuck), so I broke down and bought a snowblower thereby guaranteeing 10 years of drought for southern Idaho coming up.

The pump was still running when I shut it off.  We've had that fountain for four years or so and have never seen it totally froze up.  Forecast is 51 tomorrow so it should thaw up then...
