It won't be long before we are heading into Christmas, so here's one from Paul Kelly.
One of Australia's best poet's.
He wrote the sound track to my youth.

The older I get the faster I was.

Here's another.

Well, it isn't a go listen to this type of post merely a statement of what you are feeding your brain and listening to...so I don't view Mark's sharing that a rules violation... It is a statement of fact of what he is doing, not a discussion of politics or political view. He makes no statement about the political views expressed by that podcast or Livestream.

I would start, but I'm 17 degrees of separation into YouTube right now. Add in Pandora, my own personal vinyl/CD collection and Sirius satellite radio and I'm from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Post up a link. Bonus points if the band actually plays instruments. I once heard "it's not a real song if you can't play it on guitar or piano".

I'll wait for someone else to start before posting my schizophrenic selections.

 From post #1.
Can you play it on piano? Don't make me change the thread title to "music only".

I read the Atlantics were mostly retired and then Martin Celia who was a musician/fan approached them with some new tunes. Another wave occurred.

I'm normally not a fan of the live version but I appreciate this one. The song takes me back to cruising in my 69 firebird, through steak and shake and then through town and past the end of the bowling alley to see who is hanging around near the north door.

I like proud mary again. For a decade or so every band, rock, country or otherwise that I went to see covered it until I was sick of it.

I like seeing the proper lyrics, I got the rope still hanging in the trees right, but I always thought he _________- ____swung the rope across green river.

A friend was a Marine Recon guy in Viet Nam. He loved the helicopters, wanted to be a door gunner on a Hughey. Wife said she wasn't waiting for another tour. He said he still gets chills when he hears this song.

One of those mild mannered guys but don't push his buttons. If you startle him, be over an arm's length away.
