They were bent all over, i got it pretty close to straight, but after installing yamiya pipes, i dont have any clearance with the #2 pipe.

If you end up doing the oil tank conversion before i do, i would be interested

Well she runs. Good oil pressure, no funny noises. Transmission shifts fine. No leaks so far.
Didnt put undercut gears in this one, picked the best gears i had. I had a few transmissions on hand lol
Synced the carbs, points are close, not perfect yet. Plus the plug caps i am using for now are #$%*.
New carb boots, though i do not like these ones from vintagecb750, as much as the yamiya ones. Too hard. Pliable but hard.

Running 7a carbs with linkage not 4 cables.
Stock settings with brass floats.

Runs good. Idle hangs a little, but my guess is once the airbox is on, it will help that out a little.
Probably a touch lean at idle. And i can confirm that because of tan plug at 1500 rpm no load.

But once i can do some road testing, and go through the gears underload then all can be good with the world.

Anyone else every had any clearance issues with the yamiya no number pipes. I cant clear the stand off of no.2 pipe.
I can space out the pipe a little, but is it just my set ? Or has it happened before ?

Even in stock placement the muffler tips from the rear axle are not equally spaced on both sides.

Emblems look superb. How did you refinish to get the silver metal outline after black paint? Just block them back to the base metal with wet/dry?
By the way, just re read this and figured out your question. The emblems were from an early 71 which already had the silver outline but with white paint.

I will look I have a couple should  I don't have early without brace , but next type..  where were they bent ?
Would need an early style one. I am so sick of bent center stands. Should have tried it on with the engine in the frame before getting powdered, but haste got the better of me and i wanted all the stuff coated at the same time

Has anyone ever head of performance motorcycle creative (pms) ... webike in japan sells their exhaust.
I also looked up their website, their catalogue seems to show alot of things yamiya has, are they the exhaust supplier for yamiya no number ?

Theirs exhaust set is on sale. Which is so ewhat cheaper than yamiya or david silver.

Any feedback on these pipes? Do they fit? How do they sound?

Thank you!
Andy

They are in fact yamiya no number pipes.
Sound nicer than hm300 i think, louder as well.

The no number repro pipes do not have indents on the header pipes to givd more clearance to the brake pedal and mission cover but fit fine.

I couldn’t get em to fit right on my k0, so i swapped my hm300 from the red one.

Chrome is not bad, sound is awesome and if everything is straight, fit is not an issue.
But given sometime, anything can be made to fit.

I will post some pics later as well

Here is the next one of the lot, motor runs, barely 3 minutes of run time. All static. Just a couple heat cycles.
Considering where i started, a frame and cases for this one, i am very proud of this.
69 frame with a k0 motor. They are about 2000 apart, but i am not picky.

Heres some more, HM300 pipes as well.

I will probably blast the shields, and paint them to do the satin finish. But thats down the road.
I had these handy, so they went on.

Looks great mate, the K0 I've just started is a "bitsa", i.e., the engine and frame numbers will be around 1500 apart, but one K0 expert here told me the K0 he bought new in 1970 was 2000 apart, so maybe Honda was just throwing whatever engines they had laying around into whatever frames? Makes no difference to me, mine will be a rider, not a show bike, and I'm not building it to sell, so I'm happy. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Same here terry, it will be a rider as well. A nice pretty bike, but still a rider.

Thank you for the compliment
