well Ive been on holidays for a week and still have a week to go!!been tinkering around at home, serviced next doors toro zero turn and my self drive push and old toro ride on,the seat is still great for a 2009 machine Ive had a small lambs wool piece over over most of it,decided to ditch the filthy lambs wool now and ordered a proper seat cover for it,Ive never been able to adjust the fore and aft on it,the captive into plastic thread serts might be spinning?had to pull it apart gonna have to reglue the cushion back on,had one thread sert spinning and the other two were spinning plastic tri grip things spinning inside themselves, anyway Ive ordered a seat cover, pryed off the plastic tri grab things and welded a pair of tee pieces on the adjuster threads and restaked the spinning thread sert inside,I would like to thank Charrie W for assembling this seat and J Pantoja for inspecting it in 2008 its held up well!

My Toro zero turn has a very nice cup/can holder. When I first saw it, I thought “how dumb?”. Then I adjusted the control sticks closer together and realized I can have a free hand any time!

Since the end of October I've been commuting in a 2010 Toyota Tacoma 4cyl, 5spd, 2wd with a Leer cap.
The truck is "Borrowed" from my girlfriend's dad who is becoming medically unable to drive (but giving up is difficult). I have about 2500 miles on it and took it in for a 15-minute oil change today since I've taken the day off for some other appointments and errands.

This truck has 68,xxx miles on it and has no maintenance history to speak of. This is mainly because he only had the oil changed, never did anything else except replacing the battery once year unknown and replaced tires, I haven't checked the date codes but no cracks visible.

It's a weird little truck, it feels like it's one size too small but the price is unbeatable.

Since the end of October I've been commuting in a 2010 Toyota Tacoma 4cyl, 5spd, 2wd...

Back when a gallon of gas was approaching $4/gallon, I sold my V8 Tundra and bought a similar truck to yours for work, I was driving upwards to 100 mi/day back then [checking multiple jobsite projects, etc].
The 4cyl was a dog and I hated having a manual sitting in rush hour traffic on the highway, traded it soon afterwards for a 6 cyl Auto and liked it much better.  I like the Tacoma PreRunner so much, I've bought two more since then.  They run great, require minimal maint and get about 20mpg, hard to beat that.
I run 'em up to 200K miles and trade 'em but I'm not driving much these days, so this one will last awhile...

I'm cleaning up rust from the cab floor of my 85' GMC S15 2WD 5sp. A dozen years ago I replaced the door seals due to a leak at the drivers side door, I didn't see any rust then. Recently the passenger side sprung a leak and ruined the insulation under the rubber floor mat. After pulling out the rubber mat I found a bunch of rust.
The new leak was caused by the one piece door seals shrinking. I cut the seals at the weld seam and pushed them back into the corners. The seals had shrunk 3/4" pulling them out of the rear corners. I have a new vinyl floor mat with insulation ordered. Once I get the rust taken care of I can paint the floor and install the new mat. The seals are fine and the gap at the bottom won't matter.

I started out intending to finish tack welding the changes I made to my Firebird exhaust but a set of F2 beehive springs arrived and I was distracted into collecting parts for the 836 turbo motor.

I don't have a short attention span I just, oh look, beehive valve springs. Now where are the parts that go with them?
