I think gomerhome just saw his last sunset.

This infernal wind is supposed to let up tomorrow. The 2 a/c units are coming off, the roof skin is getting rolled up and off, and the wood starts getting fed into the burn barrel.
The 440 is going in a.j. (ateys junk).

I couldn't find the pix of a.j. so I borrowed another.

a.j. has better looking wheels swapped from Mr. Ed('96 Eddie Bauer F-150). Mr. Ed has tacky rims like the pile in the pic. That aint my problem anymore.
a.j. is worth a lot more as a hot rod with a fresh big-block than as a beater with a clapped-out 318.
Unloading a.j. will fund the real project.
gomer's frame and axles(Dana 70 rear, p/s and discs w/hydro-boost in front) are going under the GM.

... with a pickup box instead of the wrecker setup.

I still need to figure out what to use for fenders to cover the duals.
There's plenty of frame there, so I think I'm going to do an extended cab. I know where there is a cab with a good back glass from a '58-9 chev.

It should be unique for at least a couple months, until some a-hole copies it.
