Nice forks!
What's the story with these triple trees?
I like your Grandpa's artwork on the tank!
Also, why did you extend the swingarm 4 inches, since you did not increase the power or otherwise want more high-speed stability? I'm curious, since the 550 swingarm is already about an inch longer than the 750 and (aside from the wet noodle stiffness of the frame) the stock 550 geometry handles and corners pretty well.
Thank you and whoever built the bike into a chopper (I’m guessing in the late 70s, early 80s) installed them. The other guy that was on here was mentioning that they are off a Harley. I installed stock cb750 forks and realized the raked look is pretty cool. I wanted to stretch the rear swing arm for a few reasons.
One, it’s looks cool
Two, I’m a big dude so making the bike bigger would help me look less of a circus bear.
Three, it evens out the bike and makes it more proportional.
My ultimate goal was to have a “drag bike” but it turned into its own thing and my neighbor who used to own a cbx and other cool famous bikes called it a Hooligan so that’s it’s category. Haha
While building the bike I just wanted something cool and aggressive. I think I achieved it
