Just as an aside Jimmy. Mike mentioned the 2" comp. baffle and I planned to go that route for my go-fast proj. but spoke to a guy who experimented way back & said the 2" didn't work well on the middleweights. He suggested shortening the original & removing the diffuser to get the best punch.

I have to confess. As that is the most beautiful paint I've ever seen, I'm trying to replicate it with rattle cans. Hope you don't mind, I'm just that impressed with it!

Started putzing around the garage the other night and realized I still had an early VF750 electronic tach to fit.
Unfortunately the awesome aluminum housing from the VF just won’t fit with the Attack Racing triples and a tach only cluster.
With both gauges, it might have worked, but only one means a one-off billet housing and mount will have to do.

The tach is a bit smaller and the red line is 500rpm higher which should be perfect!

What do your think?

It has taken me 2 days to go through this whole thread and there are very few words that describe the thought that has been put in to this build( just a few awe inspiring and AWESOME). You are a very humble man with many indescribable talents. This is a thread that dreams are made of, including my own.

I have had a few thoughts of doing what you have accomplished here and thanks to my vast imagination and motivation from people like you, I can only hope that my bike will turn out half as sweet as yours.

What I'd like to know is why Jimmy hasn't volunteered to come out to Toronto and help me with my project? Like his bike is finished and mine is...er...ready to get started. Jeez, I'd even give him a free chainguard.

I had forgotten about the chain guard. Now I've gotta get back at it and finish up.
BTW, are these projects really ever finished?
This winter, I'm planning on fabing up manifolds to fit KZ900 Mikunis
