This is my first motorcycle rebuild. It is a '75 frame with an old '72 500 motor (boy those 500 clutches are tricky to dial in) Wish I could find a before picture...it was in very poor shape. Its a little bit better off now...Had a great time learning the in's and out's of this bike, although quite a bit of it was learned the hard-way...

This is my 1976 CB550K with a couple of it's garage mates. It just went over 6500 miles today, it is totally original except the tires.

My fathers 4500 original mile '74 550...and my brother has 2 '76's. Being the "in-house mechanic" for all of the family's bikes, I kinda consider them mine...

The first picture is what the bike looks like now. I've since painted the pipes and will wrap them with Thermo-Tec heat wrap soon. The final picture is what it looked like when I first got it. I've got a green tank on the way from e-bay and some new seals coming in to stop those damn oil leaks!

Oh yea, and I bent my handle bars putting the bike up on it's center stand, so I have new bars coming too.
