still undesided on the stripeing , that thought is on the backburner if anything.

Stop by your local auto paint shop. They should have pinstripe tape that you can get That way you can lay it down to see it in person and rearrange it if you need to.

Personally, I like how the engine kind of stands out. But that's me.

Your bike reminds me of that country song that goes "I like my women a little on the trashy side."    ;D

Yeah, if your bike was a girl it'd be wearing heavy pancake makeup and a tight dress and be into the rough stuff and your mom would hate her. ;D

If you were to name it, it would have to be "Cheap Tart"

ok got some shots of the drag bars , had to bear the cold. i took it for a quick ride around the block to see how it felt . it was actually quiet comfortable, i dont know if some of that comfort was the carhart suit, it was about 30 degrees (-2 for the rest of the world)

anyway here she is , i have decided against the pinstripes, i like the way the motor stands out

man those drag bars really do it for me

as you can see there is alot of stuff in there i need to get to , so if i cover it it has to be removeable. i'm just brainstorming at the moment i most likely will leave it just like it is

Boom Boom and a zoom zoom. Still like the style man. Make it your own. There is somebody with a wad of cash who will offer it up when you least expect it. Till then enjoy and let them gawk, as you zing by..........

Maybe finish off the gap with leather, it will blend in with the seat.

i dont think i could get enough money to make it worth it for me.  that would have to be ALOT of zeros in that number ;)
thanks for the complaments

i was thinking a piece of sheet metal that the ignition could poke though, but leather sounds way easier...... hmmmmm

Have you considered a cod piece?  I mean, because there is a lot of stuff to get to, and it IS removable.

 ;D

P.S.  You could stop me from cringing each time you accept compliments by spelling it correctly?  Complaments = no, Compliments = yes.

Anyway, please accept my compliments. ;D

WOW! I LOVE that bike! (But then I love psychobilly rock too....  ;))
Truly a two-wheeled hot rod.
I have to say that I think this version of the bike looks much better than "Spikeybike MkI", the fully covered tank was too much, and looked too big. The relief with the leopard print really shrunk the tank visually, and gave it a lighter look.
The orange engine block helps getting that hot rod look too, great idea!
Imagine ripping through town to the sound of sayyy....Os Catalepticos on that! Bring on the speeding tickets...!!!! :D

the rear's mounting brackets are custom, the front are in the headlight and just long enough

this bike is what keeps me of drugs ,(there i said it ) i work on it DAILY ,literally. if i posted all the modds as i did them you guys would get sick of hearing about it. so i try to only post stuff that is worthy.

so i'm not the first to drill a chain cover, or polish one, or paint one .

but i think i'm the first to do all three at once

That's Cool!!
It's the little things that make the big picture complete.
Who-da thunk Leopard skin on a bike could look so good. The new tank looks awesome!!
Spikeybike rules. Loved it from the start!

Damn, one second I was ogling your unusually beautiful bike and the next I nearly cried. I couldn't imagine investing such time, talent, and money and watching it all go up in smoke. Sorry to hear that, and hope to see it resurrected soon.  :-[
