Sooooo sorry about your bike.  I think I've got an electrical panel but I'm not sure which bike's it's off of.  Let me know.  If you want it, it's yours.

Here's the link to the rest of the extra stuff I've got around.  Just let me know if you can use any of it to get your ride back on the road.

I'm am very touched by all the comments ... i really mean that

i will send pms when I'm not so drunk ::)

but the damage is bad i am lucky that i still have my garage
i think that when the smoke filled the garage it suffocated the fire and it went out

 all that work gone....

oh and it's a 75 CB550f

Sorry to see your bike like that Spiker, I think you should kill all your friends and blame it on Al Queda, (leave a couple of box cutters on the garage floor) and ask GW to finance a replacement Vincent Black Shadow, just like the one that was destroyed in that act of terrorism! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

That is just sad.

Are you positive that it couldn't have been electrical?  Not that it matters but it seems more likely to me that electrics started it than a cigarrette.  Unless that heater you were talkin about was right next to the bike?

Sorry about that bro, seeing those pics of your burned bike hurts so much!!!

Before blaming your smoking friends, you said you were doing some electrical mods. Was the battery installed? You sure you didn't leave some wires hanging that could make a short when you covered the bike? If the gas tank was not installed, I assume the fire was caused by the cover, not by the gas. Otherwise you could very well have a burned garage now.

i am so blown away buy the brotherhood of this site

all the comments i've gotten ... all the pms i've received, i don't how to thank all of you
now that i've gone out and had a good (sober) look at the bike i think it looks worse then it is

the battery was not on the bike when this happened so it wasn't an electrical fire , the electrical work i was doing was new dyna coils and cleaning up some relay wiring (the coils were not on yet)

i will post a complete list of parts i need , mostly electrical
i dont think i mentioned that i need intake manifold boots

i WIIL rise the Phoenix from the ashes , my goal is mid summer , if i dont bore it out (since i'll be pulling the motor

I didn't catch the model of the bike, but I've got 750 spares if it is a 750. I'd be willing to toss stuff you're way if I have it.

i have no problem believing it was those damn smokers... let's put it this way... if that sheet had oil or gas on it (if they're anything like the cloth stuff i have in my garage they are used to clean up anything and everything) there's your fumes.  the fumes are the very ignitable stuff.  then, if there's cigarettes there's always flame (how'd they get that cig lit in the first place? right?)
and with the cloth there as kindling... it didn't take long.  it looks as though she didn't suffer, up in one quick mushroom cloud of spiked glory.

Just boxed up the boots (and manifolds cause I can't get the boots off).  They're not new, but no cracks.
The electrics board is from a CB77 so I don't think it'll be any help.  Let me know if you think you could use it anyway.

PM me your address and I'll get the boots in the mail tomorrow.
