Real men don't "step through".  Ever seen a saddle with a step through back?  The step through facilitates a dress.

Real men are not afraid to ride a moped or scooter..

The other pussies are so woried about what others say or think that they wont ride one..

Not liking scooters makes me a homophobe?  So by your logic, all scooter owners are gay, hence you are a bigot. 8)

I just don't like scooters and would prefer to be denutted with a spoon before owning one out of choice.  Its not an appearance thing, its a preference for displacement and functionality, give me a scooter that performs, handles, and sits like a motorcycle (and is in my price range) and I'll buy it (though then it wouldn't be a scooter).

As for you crying about appearances, it leads me to believe that you ride one for what it says about you in a different way (not gay, just willing to ride a scooter, save resources, etc).  We drive/ride what we do for what it says about us.  Get over yourselves scooters are gay.  But kudo's to the chick for the brass ones to play ballast.

No, but making statements like "Real men don't step through" does. ;)

I think you are taking this way too seriously....I wasnt the one saying "scooters are gay" or "real men do this or that"....I mean whats the point? what is a "real" man anyway...isnt that how gay guys talk -they are always looking for "real" men  ;) ;)

You dont like scooters thats fine but to relate them to gayness....well thats high-school mentality....and what logic is at work here?  ::) (and this wasnt responding to you SEBNN but to the whole premise of the thread; scooters are gay  ::))

No I dont ride a scooter my g/f does...does that make her gay?  ::) If I ride it am I suddenly gay?  ::) Oh dear.....I think you are spending way too much time thinking about this whole gay thing....you are not related to Larry Craig are you?  8) He`s not gay either  ::) And there are plenty more anti-gay crusaders just like him  8)

Have a laugh on a Thursday afternoon....dont stress it  ;)

cheers
Andy

Not a scooter or moped story but anyway.........

The gal at the burger stand down the road just had her Jeep painted at the shop in town....

If a person was color-blind it would look like a pretty good camo job....

I'm not color blind and it's all shades of PINK!!

Guess who had to drive the thing to see what was going on with the brakes........

.... hope nobody got a picture.

Real men don't need a motor, they just pedal.  Then again, real men can't go up a 10 mile long grade at 85mph either and get testicular cancer from sitting on a narrow racing seat for half of their lives. :)

Riding a scooter doesn't make you gay any more than sitting in the stall next to Larry Craig does (unless you share his wide stance).  And not to be sophomoric, but I still think that scooters are gay.

This is true, unless you KNOW Larry Craig is in the next stall and you go in anyway.

So doesn't it apply to scooters as well?  I mean, you know what you're buying when you go into that stall  ;D

Don't know.  Don't care.  But, I've wanted one of those since they first became available.  Don't know if a commuter vehicle can be made more practical.

A guy was selling a PC-800 near here for $2500.  35000 miles, been sitting for a year.  I was simply too slow in getting to him.   :'(
