Dude anything can be done for right amount of money. This whole thing started because someone suggested that putting HD motor in a Duc chassis would be more economical.  What you are proposing is far from economical and even less practical. Not to mention that the end result would be worse than when you started.  Kind of like putting a HD motor in Ducati chassis.

Money.? You started this with a half million dollar car.!!

I am not proposing anything, just pointing out that your original statement was incorrect, you said the Ferrari would be a brick with the Chevy Powerplant and that is just not true, considering that both power plants weigh roughly the same and can both produce the same power figures. Look at the Ultima sport road cars built in England, small block chevy powered and faster than the Enzo and without all the computerized add ons.. I have a friend that owns a Hot Rod manufacturing company in Queensland, his rods are primarily Chev powered, and i have owned chevs and performance car engines my self, i am well aware of how much power can be massaged from a small block Chev and reliably .

Yes the majority of us are riding vintage motorcycles, few of us have taken our 30+ year old power plants and put them into a 1000RR chasis.  Sorry but putting a 350 small block into a Enzo may lower your maintenance costs but it also turns your Enzo into a carbon fiber brick.

And i was responding to your original statement above that was incorrect, because it suggested that the chev was heavier which would produce a slower vehicle, thats just not the case.

Just forget it mate,  this isn't the place to discuss it.

No the weight was only part of it.  If you understood the dynamics of a mid engine car, and the design of the Enzo my statement is absolutely correct.  The car would not handle nearly as well.  All you've done with your examples is further my point.  Just getting that motor in the Enzo alone would butcher the car to point of altering its handling. It would change the stress points, raise the cg and change polar moment of car in way's, due tot the nature of the suspension set up, would difficult to dial out.  But worse you'd take this half million dollar car and devalue it by 80%.   Back in the 80's guys did this kind of thing to 308's, dropping small block Chevy's into them. 10 years later the cars were worth less than 20-30% of an unmolested 308.  Sure a 350 is less to maintain but god if that's all I cared about I'd be riding modern motorcycles, and I'd never have owned any of Alfa Romeo's, Triumphs or Jags that have graced my garage.

I know there is some HD haters on here, to each their own I guess. I appreciate most bikes and understand that each one has it's own function. For me, my HD has been a great bike to ride hundreds of miles in a day, like Sunday, when I road it 981 miles. For the people who find inspiration in vintage choppers check out my blog. I road to Born Free 4 in LA, CA this weekend and i was great. I've posted a bunch of pics already and plan to post about 100 more. I'm not looking for a "this bike is better than that bike" discussion, I'm just a dude who likes all kinds of bikes.

There is a spot in Switzerland we went thru, all the traffic goes on the train, then thru a tunnel, under a mountain and out the other side.. 20 minutes later..you are driving again..!

Yeah it's mine - about to get it on the road.  Minor mods - mostly just tried to knock down the stock ornamentation. Running nice right now - a close friend rides a 550 and really has his mind around they need to be tweaked - a huge help.

I really like it.  Very clean lines with some of 'extra's' removed.

Nice bike. The Lucas style tail light and clear turn signals clean it up good.

I have the same gauges and feel the same.  They look great but work so so.

Jett has the rear fender been modified?  Or is it stock?
