So right! Guy’s name is Mike Taylor and he is a pro. Superb equipment. Lights are all out in the shop, and his lights are hidden in the back. Roll up door was open, grey day. He played with angles, lights and natural light. Asked me to move the Benelli and even covered a few shiny posters on the walls that were “bouncing” his lights. I kept working, he kept shooting. That big screwdriver was because I realized the outriggers on the work table were not pulled out. I needed a big pry bar. I told him “nobody uses a thing this size on a Honda motorcycle”. He’s not very mechanical, but a great photographer......

I like that yellow bike lift you have. Takes up less room and looks like it is easy to walk around and work on the bike, take back wheel off etc..

It’s a good lift! I have a larger one fo major projects, but this is very handy and takes up less space.

one place to use the big screwdriver  the front disc brake adjuster screw. I use it once, to take the screw out and  leave it out..
and sometimes to retract the brake piston, if it moved with the disc out.

754....... right, mostly gets used as a pry bar!

Here’s  the bigger lift. More space for “stuff” but also great for banging shins and hips! It also has locking (screw down) feet that stop it running away when loading by myself....... I use the smaller one, most often. Easier to move.

Progression...

The first pic is from the shed I built the 750 in back in 2005.
It was so small I had to move the bike all the time to get around it. Every single part for it was hung on the walls on nails because there was no floorspace... cramped but it worked :-)

Second pic is from the garage of the first house I bought in 2007.
320 sqft was huge compared to the shed!

Sold the house in 2013 and bought another without a garage. Immediately started to build one, and that is the third and fourth pic.
750 sqft is more than I could have ever dreamed of when I was in the shed, and yes, more space makes life easier :-D

CBJoe.... sorry, no idea. Small one was from KIJIJI and the larger one came with a bunch of bikes and stuff I bought all together. Both Made in China, for sure. The large one operates with the foot pump (hydraulic) or compressed air. Never use the air, it’s not smooth! Works great, on the pedal. The small one was like new, but all the paint came off the top bed. Rusty chequer plate underneath. Had to clean and paint it myself.... cheap stuff, but useful beyond belief.

My wife rarely comes out here. In fact, I could sneak another motorcycle in and she would never know. I know this to be a fact because I’ve done it!  Finishing up a Kawasaki voyager 1300 full dresser to stripped down cruiser project. Next on deck a ‘78 750F.

Sorry about the orientation. For some reason these are right slide up on other boards, but not here.

I can't actually get inside my shop, and I'm not sure why? ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

The key is organization, Terry....

I just pull the wifey's Z car out and plenty of room to wrench.

Nice! I wish I had a "Car Hole" as big as yours Steve, if I did I could fit all 16 bikes (and enough parts to build 4 or 5 more) my lathe, mill, boring bar, welders, compressors and all my other machinery, and still have no room to move! ;D

I am getting ready to move into a bigger storage unit, big difference I will finally have power.
I don't at present. Gonna be very full soon, but that is incentive to sell off stuff , to have more working space. My son will join me at times.. finally I will soon be able to make parts and build a few bikes.
There is a mezzanine above, minus the hole in the middle
 Pretty pumped about this
About 50 feet deep  by 11.5, first pic shows rear door, second shows man door and rollup.
