Topic: SamCR750s mini US southern tour 2008.

I've got my passport, flight booked, Holiday and extra medical insurance and the company I work for have said I can have the time off.
I arrive on Saturday 11th Oct at Richmond Int Airport around 8.30pm. My nephew lives close by so I emailed him last week (Tuesday)
but have not heard from him as yet.
If he don't get in touch, looks like I will be living in a tent in Dusterdudes back garden but then again, you all know I like gardens
Hoping to meet up with Rocking-M Robert the first weekend when Dusty and myself head for Piedmont in NC for a day at the dragstrip, also hope to meet up with Fuzzybut, (hope he isn't wearing his kilt)
I then have a week to kill before heading to Maxton for the Maxton Mile, if anyone is on route from Dusties to Maxton and would like to meet up, just post here or PM me.
After Maxton I will be headed across to Birmingham AL to meet up with jtb John before heading for Gulf Port MS.
I'll be spending a few weeks there, then off to Valdosta for the Drag bike Finals.
If anyone is on any part of my route just let me know, drinking beer on ones own is not a thing I do very often

        Man Sam! Even at Gulfport MS, you'll still be about 590 miles and about 10hrs away from where I am. When I was reading the place you were going and you mentioned Gulfport, I was hoping that you might make it a bit closer. Sure hope you have a good stay, while you are over here. Best keep an eye on ole duster and the other one on fuzzy (and pray he wears something besides the kilt! ) I figure that you won't have to be on your guard with Rockin-M or John, they seem pretty square (now, you all know I mean that in a good way, right?)

+1, It's beautiful in New England around Autumn.  Welcome to the 'States... well you know, when you get here I mean.

So, when you're here... welcome! Not now 'cause you're not here yet... that wouldn't make any sense. If it helps just make a note to your self that I officially welcome you and keep it with you in your travels.

Then, following your thorough body cavity search in a dank dark airport security office by some guy with big hands and a flashlight you can open up that crumpled piece of paper and let my warm salutations help stifle the pain and fight back the tears of your humiliating yet strangely arousing arrival to our shores.

I don't know what Piedmont or maxton is, but I think they're way down in the flatlands?  Back East?  What route are you taking and how are you getting around?  Got time to ride around the mountains?  I'd loan yu a bike for a while if you need one.  In fact, I have a nice Beemer I can't start...  (or a nice 400/4 that does).  Play your cards right, and you could even buy me a cuppa.

Paul Piedmont is a Dragstrip the other side of Greensboro, it's along  40 about 160 miles.
Maxton is an airfield where they do land speed racing. It's 170 miles down 74 through Charlotte.
If you can get to either places Paul, I'll buy you two cuppas
