You think these are worth anything??

I have Hooker header/exhaust system for a Gpz/Kz550 in the OEM box!!!

It has the installation instructions, the make and model ID card, and a Hooker catalog!!

But unfortunatnly, it is missing the muffler clamp ::) ::) ::)

It's brand new and it was manufactored in 1979. Says Race exhaust only..... ??? ???

What do you think I should ask for it??

I would do an E-bay search for Gpz/Kz550 and see what the going sell price is over a month or so and then set your min somewhere near that. 

A missing clamp should not be a real issue. Sounds like you may have something worth a few bucks to the right buyer ;D

Ebay has nothing....I can't believe no one is selling any KZ or GPZ 550 exhaust systems.... ??? ???

Anybody have any idea as to how much these things could be worth??

Couldn't find a KZ forum....cause if I did, I'd be swimming in Jacksons right now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Lets see if no one is selling them, then you could stand to make some good coin on a rare item. Of course maybe no one looks for them either.

 Throw it on Feebay. Even if its not such as desirable item, the truth is, exhaust pipes rot out and need to be replaced and I'm pretty sure it should do well (if you have the only Exhaust for the Kaw 550 on Feebay, that helps too).
 You may be surprised.

You just never know. Some person might be willing to pay quite a bit. AAhhh that foggy world of ebay! :D

KZ and GPz riders are a bit of a cult... Similar to SOHC.   The 500's were the smaller ones that folks are starting to pick up.

I have a later 750 that gets a lot of comments.

Look for a buyer carefully and you should get a decent return for it.

Seems like there were a few different set ups for the GPz. The GPz i had had a supertrapp exhaust on it.

From what I have found, in the late 70's early 80's supertrapp was the "bomb" performance upgrade to put on just about anything.

I kinda thought Hooker headers were for the guys that wanna go fast!!

We'll see...gonna post the system for sale on that KZ site that fishhead was so kind enough to find for me ;)
