i'm happy to have found this thread. i have always had the interest in getting a 3/4 or 1/2 w/goggles but have never made the leap for monetary reasons.

Still out of my pricerange are those beautiful MOMO helmets, they really are like peices of art...along w/the pricetag.

A more reasonable is this Nexx X60

These AFX helmets are something i might go after...specifically the FX 42A

anyone have any images and/or thoughts on goggles?

Does anyone have any pics of the Momo being worn? Any advice on 1/2 or 3/4 helmets which don't make your head look huge? I am a skinny guy so most of them make me look like an astronaut.

I wear an older {late 80's} Arai Randy Mamola style helmet. I am thinking of getting one of the Simpson helmets like the one in my avatar...

I have a white Shoei RF with the blue Iridium lens.

I've always had white for visibility and can't imagine not having a full face helmet while riding.

In a moron-driver free world where my bike magically stayed rubber side down no matter what, I'd be in an old school cap and goggles!

The scorpion is Elizabeth's replacement to the one next to it after she was run off the road. Comfort level was the best for her in the store. She got tiny head!

My helmets are both ARAIs... green for "kiwi", black for "baby"

now, all i have to do is get that damn tech sticker off from sandia raceway!

so... i guess you could say... safety AND sexy.

last minute opportunity to get moto out of the rain...shorts on a moto yeah yeah yeah

i'm using this thread as research for future helmet purchase as i currently don't have any gear to go along w/my 76 550F, still in early build stage but i plan to match helmet w/whatever color scheme the moto becomes

Hey, isn't that Morten Harket's kid in your photo?

Back on topic though, I rock a white HJC CL-15, SNELL and DOT approved. I read somewhere that in an Australian study it was proven that wearing a white helmet decreases your chances of being in an accident by something like 35%. I guess I could care less what I look like for the most part when it comes to safety.

I've got the same helmet. I chose full face for protection and white for visibility. Definitely safety over style. The bike takes care of the style part.
