Don't rest on your laurels Marti, go put that bike back the way you found it!!
Mike congrats lovely machine and such a cool colour.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Congrats, Mike!

And yes, Ecosse, I feel the same way. We had an all around deserving bunch. I think the lobbying, if it can be called that, was more intense this month, and I think that was cool because we learned more about the bikes.

Wow!  I just got into the office and logged in ..... thanks a ton everyone ... this experience has been a surprise starting from Sam's first nomination when the bike was just paint to this BOTM finish.

All the bikes were really sharp and I did not know what the outcome would be, I felt it could have gone a number of ways.  This outcome was not what I expected.

I am also really surprised by the amount of comments about the color ...... I had the bike out for a couple shake down cruises this weekend and the color kept coming up from folks on the street.  One experience that was cool was a group of hardcore Harley guys cruised alongside me for awhile checking me out, and then gave me a thumbs up as they shot off ahead.

If anyones interested I have some build progress shots I could post up tonight?

All the bikes are great.  They're all winners.

Congrats to Martino - you wanted 5 votes and you got 8.  That's 8 people that thought you should win!  I'm looking forward to seeing your bike after this latest rebuild.  The engine looks awesome!

MEC's Elgi is really cool.  It takes a lot of skill to make something like that.

Kghost's bike looks like it's fresh out of the Honda plant.  Soichiro (the real Soichiro) would be proud.

Seaweb's Tracy is one of the coolest looking bikes I've ever seen.  People doing future Tracy projects will hang a picture of it in their garage for inspiration.

And of course, Mikeb4's cool cafe.  He won, 'nuff said!

You're all winners!

1) I am also really surprised by the amount of comments about the color ......

2) One experience that was cool was a group of hardcore Harley guys cruised alongside me for awhile checking me out, and then gave me a thumbs up as they shot off ahead.

3) If anyones interested I have some build progress shots I could post up tonight?

1) i was gonna say something about that color, if i hadn't already. and the white is a great contrast too.

2) pretty darn cool when ya get recognition from a different perspective!

3) "if anyone's interested"... hey, it's us you're talkin about here.  ::)

Well what can one say?  ;D ;D ;D ;D Mike, welcome to the very exclusive double winners club 8) 8) 8) 8) and with a pair no less of beautiful CR750 road legal race reps.
Quite a lot of the bikes I have voted for over the years have gone on to win but this (I think) is the first time I have had two bikes that I have nominated go on to win. 8) 8) 8) 8)
This was really hard for me as I had to vote against two members who I really like as people and who turned out really fine looking machines, they need no introduction.
And then there were the other two. No disrespect to Marty but had the bobber been in similar company he would have been in with a chance, sadly, no cigar against these four.
And then there was Mec, 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) if you want to waste your talent building Eglies that's up to you, build CRs and get my vote :D :D :D :D a truly fine motorcycle Mr Mec, a machine that will stand you proud in any company.
