Was accepted to an Advanced Rider Training Course at the track for this Friday. ;D ;D ;D
Includes a training certificate that should help me race at other tracks as well as a professional DVD with stills and video shot on the track. 4 hours of class then hit the track for a few hours.

Instructor has a set of racing leathers I can use this time.

Can't wait 8)

Looking back at the aeriel picture Derek, is that an 1/8th or full drag strip through the middle of the circuit?

I figured the sparks from the kick stand would be better in the garage than on the track ;D

Another day at the track today for my advanced rider course.  I'm so fricken sore......... especially my hips. Must be from hanging off to the side so much.

No photos yet, they had a video on one bike and a still photographer taking photos from different areas on the course.
They mail out the DVD later. :P

Just got back from Vancouver last night from an emotional roller coaster, but I received my DVD of the vids and photos and had to get into them a bit. I'm out in the garage squishing all my clothes and tools into my saddle bags for Sturgis.

I did get a few of them sized though.

VERY nice Derek!!!! Love the lean shots!!! Looks like another great track day!

And good to see you in leathers this time - you actually look quite racer-ish  ;)  ;D

How are you tires? The front tire pattern looks a little dated but maybe hard to say? Any slip up front?

cheers
Andy

The tires are "period correct" Dunlop Roadmasters. I Love them, No issues with the front tires at all. I did almost do a high side coming out of a corner a bit to hard. Parked it after that one ;D

Those pics are cool on so many levels.

I bet it's safe to say you had the only chrome framed, crocodile upholstered, Tracy bodied bike on track that day.

Once you get more into the posture side of things you will actually gain ground clearance. It's amazing how tight you can make corners when you start draggin' those knees! Your head looks great though, nice and level and looking way through the corners. Looks like a blast!
