Stayed in Saturday night, had an early night and was up bright and early Sunday morning.
Did a bit of house work as the weather was terrible but around 11am I decided to go for a run out into the Cheshire country side and take in a Sunday dinner in one of Cheshire's nicest country pubs.
After dinner the weather picked up and the sun came out to play.
I pulled into the car park at Marbury Mere and spent the afternoon walking along its shores.
I got home around 5.30 to find my family all sat outside my home.
They had organised a surprise birthday party for me, booked a room in a local hotel with food and a band all laid on. They had managed to locate lots of my old mates from all over the place and a few of my relatives had traveled quite far. The party ran from 12 to 5pm.
Had I been told, it wouldn't have been a surprise and I had told my son Jonathan that I didn't have anything planned on Sunday, and I was only a cell phone away if anyone wanted me.
One thing I never do unless in church is, switch off my phone, I wonder who switched it off

little boys should not mess around with other peoples phones, we all know who it was and I hope this teaches you a lesson.
Oh and thanks for the nice birthday card Benny.
Sam.
