I have 7mm blue solid core wire by the foot here. PM me if you don't mind crimping your old connectors onto them.
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.

One thing about black dye, it is very difficult to get it properly sealed, I wear blue jeans not two tone black and blue, those cost extra! Nice looking seat and color is good too.

Wouldn't have thought of the old-school cotton style, but those look pretty slick.

NICE NICE!!!  Black with green is slick!  I'm partial to the black with red...something about that color scheme just sticks with me...ahah!
Cheers!

orange is cool, for me the wire color depends on the colors of the bike. you don't want them to clash or stand out too much. especially if your wires aren't the focal point of the build.

Now that Cafe has explained to me that replacing the plug wires on a 650 isn't very practical, this thread is making me jealous.  Those cables really add a nice accent to everyone's bikes.

lemme clarify so I don't get a bunch of flack.

the wires on an OEM CB750 are part of the coil and it's more difficult to replace them than it is on a bike with a set of aftermarket coils.

I forgot you had a CB650, it might be do-able, I think they have removable plugs on the coil.

Oh, sorry - I wasn't trying to get the pot stirred at all.  It was just a personal lament.  If you want me to delete something of mine, just let me know.

oh yeah!
here's some pics of the seat on the bike, and pretty much done.
I need to get some buttons to hold the ends down, but here it is.

Looking good, here's mine pilobond is drying so I have a solid base to shape the foam instead of chasing it all over the bench.

Looking seriously tight, Cafe.  I love the mean, agressive stand this ride has, and I think the tan coloring is off-setting the black nicely.

BTW, someone else started a coil thread where we can probably take some of our questions without jacking this one.
