Paulages, winner BOTM, February 2008.  Thank you, Ecosse.

Thanks for the attempt... technically, what I'm working on now is a new bike- except for the front end and engine, which went in after I won before- but there are plenty others on here deserving of nomination. What are the rules, anyway? Can you win for two different bikes?

Two different bikes? Yes.  Just can't re-nominate the winning BOTM bike.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

But the question remains, not that Paul needs to be nominated again, does a rebuild qualify?

eh... i don't really care about being nominated. i don't really think my new bike is a rebuild though. basically i took the forks and engine from the old bike and put them in a new frame, with a new tank and bodywork. rearsets are new, rear wheel is new, swingarm is new, fairing is new.... hell, the engine is new from whenever it was i won BOTM.

I JUST WANT IT TO BE FINISHED SO I CAN RIDE!

To me, personally, it is a different bike.  If the other members that participate in this part of the forum are ok with paulages description of a different bike, then so am I.

I will get some new pictures of it up today and post them here. where are all my other 650 riders we gotta stand up and nominate our 650 brotheren

Yer gonna have to talk a friend into nominating yours then!  ;)  Maybe November should be regular bike month, or something like that.  It'll be a way for those of us with dirty ole bikes to get in on the action.  MMICAFE, can't wait to see pics!

In the meantime, are there any other bikes out there for nomination?

Paulages, +1 getting your bike on the road.  Wasn't worried about the nomination, just wanted to clarify the position of the forum in general.

;D we've been over that... can of worms. on the other hand when a everyman/woman's bike wins over a flashier bike the victory is that much sweeter. and we've had that not long ago i think.

Spikey  beat me to it, I'd been gonna nominate Mike's bike for a bit. And, due to ONE thing or ANOTHER, I got totally sidetracked. ::)

Anyways, Good to see that SOMEBODY'S on their toes and DONE IT!  Way To Go Spikey, Mike's 750 deserves a chance at this! ;)
