Spotty and I had a good day tinkering on my K0 yesterday. I was hoping we'd get it finished, but of course everything takes longer than you hope. We replaced the sump pan with the stripped threads with another one I found in my garage, replaced the aftermarket crappy Chinese rear shocks with genuine Honda "Black tops" that are either K0 or K1, but look more authentic.
We dropped the needles a notch on the carbs as I raised them when I first bought the carbs from a well known "Expert" who didn't install the gaskets under the carb tops before I realised that he'd fcuked up and that was why it was running lean, and installed new ones, but didn't drop the needles, thinking that a slightly richer condition wouldn't hurt with the free-er flowing K&N filter and Delkevic 4 into 1, but it did run a bit rich regardless.
We reinstalled the oil tank, chain and chain guard, carbs and airbox, brake, gear and kick starter pedals, clutch cable and cover, and filled it with fresh oil, and by that we'd had enough, so next time I go over we'll install the coils, the new Yamiya pipes, fill the tank with fresh fuel, and call it good. Hopefully it'll run as well as it did with the Delkevic pipe, and as it's the first day of Spring today, the weather should be getting nicer for some rides leading up to Christmas.
