Ran round like an idiot, torrential rain got into the front room and wet a big pile of my parts including engine parts. Still cleaning up and using lots of WD40..... What a pain in the ass..... >:(

Send them down to me Mick, and I'll er, dry them off for you! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Yeah right - like your shed is nice and dry in a storm...

Send them down to me Mick - I will keep them safe and dry in our shop.

What did I do on my bike today?

Tidied up the engine appearance with a light spray of rattle can satin black here and there, and then took some more photos for a possible buyer.

Not the shed mate, there's a cheap and nasty room {sun room} that is an add on to the house, the brain surgeon that built it put the guttering on the house side under the gutter from the house, so when the house gutters overflow it completely fills the small rectangular roof section up like a friggin swimming pool, then it backs up and flows straight inside, usually there's bugger all in that room but we were thinking of moving and stacked a lot of stuff in there.... :o  We just had enough rain to float the Arc this afternoon, over an inch an hour.... :o :o >:(

Terry, i didn't just come down with the rain mate..... ;D ;D ;)

Dropped my tank off to get the dent pulled and painted. Stupid wind knocked my other bike onto my Honda.

- I made it.

And I know I will incur the wrath of the CB750 gods by selling the bike (particularly the god that lives up the road a bit) - but I have two other project bikes that need my time and resources.

Where to start..POlished the front forks, chrome ears, rear fender, chain gaurd.... Got the front end on, then the rear tire on... Wanted to see how she looked so far. Then decided I am not going to paint the engine and put it in and try to get her done in a few weeks at latest... I tore off the front end, rear tire, carried to the basement... Tried to mount the engine and could not get the bottom bolt on the left side in.... Then it was pointed out I need to remove the swing arm as I did not put the chain around it first................ Then called it a day.

I tried to either extend or end the eBay listing on my bike as I found out toady I have to fly to England on Saturday to commit my violently demented 96 year old grandmother into high security care. So the auction will end whilst I am away for two weeks.

put new brake lines on my 550F.  Good thing one line was barely still there.  A few more hard stops and NOBRAKES.  Put the same ones I put on the 650C from Pampadori

Rode to work. On the way drop off gym cloth for my son, The Knucklehead Extraordinaire.

Side note: balaclava makes a world of a difference especially with open helmet.

Funny thing about kids...   I used to keep a spare set of used tail lights for my daughters car. "Dad, I swear that post wasn't there", "Wow, can you pull the back end out". "Someone must of backed into me" & the famous "I only broken one side this time".

Kids, you gotta love em  :)

Got HM's book last night.  It was delivered at 7:40pm, it was dark outside.  I had no idea they ran that late when it was not Christmas.

NEway, glanced through the book a while.  Glad I never bought a Clymer or Haynes!!!!!!!   Nice book!!!!!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Got mine a few weeks ago with that major discount (33%!!)  and I'm super impressed with it.  It is well worth the full price with all the color pictures, and the wealth of knowledge inside.

Well done HondaMan!

Today I finally rode my 500 a bit...felt great!

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Whoa, is it true? Another Hawaii rider?
________

Filled the gouges in my headlight bucket. Will prime/paint tomorrow. Also, the bucket had a cut all the way from the back hole to the edge. Is that normal, or is it another "wtf did the PO do?!" thing? 74 550, btw. Because I fiberglassed it back together already.

Completely squared away the wiring. Replaced all the crazy splices, nicked wires, and burnt up wires near the fuses. Also put new heat shrink on the cracked, brittle tubing (the big bundle of wires). Will get some pictures tomorrow.

STILL waiting on my replacement fork. 20 days and counting :(
