Happened about 10AM this morning and I got a CNN news Break!

No Sam, it's NOT nice at all. $:-\$ Yeah, they said it was a light plane (single engined), but the thing is, when the 1st plane crashed into the Twin Towers, THEY also said the same thing! So, I'm personally holding my thoughts as to whether it was a small plane or not and whether it was an accident or not. They aren't linking it to terrorist activity and such yet, but who knows til ALL of the info is in.

Right now they ARE saying that it departed Georgetown Airport this morning and showed a phot of what is supposed to be like the one that crashed and it IS a single engine small plane. They filed no flight plan because this is suppoed to be what they call a VFR day. Now they are saying that a man set his house on fire, stoled the plane and flew it into the bldg, according to Federal officials.

Yes he did. Now they are saying that the plane was his, so he didn't stel it, he just flew it into thwe bldg.

Now, they are saying that he left a 6pg Suicide note on the internet. From the suicide note, he was very upset and had issues with several things in our nation and with the IRS, who was in THAT bldg.

He must really hate paying taxes. He could have just crashed into it over the weekend when no one was there and been the only one hurt. Hell, Monday was a damn holiday. Why not do it then?

I drove by close to there about an hour and half after the event. The fire was already out and I didn't see much other than backed up traffic.

Anybody read his suicide note online? Crazy rantings of another nut-job commie. He earned lots of money, failed to pay his taxes, then tried to kill a lot of people to attract attention to his tax-avoidance "plight". He had the nerve to complain about high taxes, yet he endorsed communism by actually quoting Marx' Communist Manifesto at the end of his suicide note.

While I agree (to a significantly lesser degree) with his frustration with the government, this guy was a total ass-backwards moron.

Thankfully, it seems that he was the only person to die in the IRS building today.

looked like he had some marbles loose for sure. probably would have been better off without tax advice from the 'you don't have to pay taxes' bunch.

didn't see where the guy was endorsing communism in there and looked like it ended with a quote from The Capitalist Manifesto anyway...

He was messed up in the head enough to try to kill his wife and her 12 year old Daughter (by setting the house on fire, with them in it), along with whoever he could take out in that building. Not exactly who I'd want to be identified with. $:-\$

Yeah, he was a transplant. I think they said he came from California (but don't quote me on WHERE he was from, but he DID move from somewhere else though).
