I think its finished now.. You would have to check with him. These were the only pic's on his thread and they were tword the beginning.

.: Scott :.

If it's finished, I second.

Looks like this month isn't going to be like pulling teeth to get noms.  Should be a good batch.

Sorry, I haven't posted any final pictures yet.  Yes, it's finished.  Well...I've been riding it for a while now.  Can't say it will ever be "finished".  Here's the latest.

Love the color.
His car is just as cool. Plus if you did not see the close ups, you did not see the flames under the candy paint.. Just fantastic work.

Love the paint work! Ghost flames are very well done. Is that a headlight bucket off of a 1998 HONDA 1100 Aero by chance?

Very, very, well done..

Thanks Otto.  The flames are hard to photograph well, and as people have pointed out, I'm no photog.
Yes, that's a Benjie's headlight bucket.

You actually bought the tank and original side covers off of this bike from me back in Nov. 08 when I first started working on it.  The root beer brown parts.

Thanks DelbT!

I may not be able to vote this month.  Love all the bikes.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Del,

Is there a build thread on your bike? I'd like some info on the upper triple tree...

Bob,
I didn't do a complete build thread, but I did post a couple of threads with some of the build information.

The whole front end is actually off an 81 CB650C that I modified the triple tree to fit the CB550 frame by turning the steering stem down just a bit further so that the bearing heights were the same.  Then the 650 forks were cut to the same height as the 550 forks.  The top clamp has all the extra bumps/knobs ground off and then is polished.  I used that particular fork set because I wanted the twin disk comstars.  To get the 18 inch rear comstar, I used the rear wheel setup from an 82 CB450T.
