Disaster strikes! well...sort of...
Of course I have no bike jack/stand and I was being stupid.
long story short: i scratched my paint (a tiny chip) which I then tried to "fix" and f#*d up even mor so now I'm looking to either repaint it or just have someone else do it.

wELL, BAD NEWS COMES IN "threes" they say.

First the front tire tube is punctured...bought the replacement.

Second...I manage to fudge up the paint on my tank,,,its minor..I'll just fix it.

then #3 !!! A whopper...
Gnarlie Charlie just sent me pics of the '71 cars I sent him:

WOW! WTF happened here...am I right!?

Guess I'll be sending him my '75's...LOL.

And the hope?

Well...I got the exhaust mufflers in from LowBrow and they look great and looks like their going to fit fine with some modification to the Hooker manifolds.

I manage to get my new brackets in and mount the dual headlights and the look great too! I'll post pics tomorrow.

AND last, but not least Anubis A.k.A. "El Cheapo"  sent me a pic of my newly drilled rotor and his rep is definitely the real deal...Rotor looks great. Hope to get it back next week.

Re: FREE BOOTER's CB750 K5-NEED list of Electrical components
« Reply #255 on: October 23, 2011, 04:04:33 PM »
ok ..So what I'm looking for is a detailed list of electrical parts for my 750k.
Found this pic for reference:

Just pretend that you have a bare frame and nothing on it electrical wise except for lights.

Now I need a list of all the parts so I can buy them new, bit I'm not entirely sure what I need.

Hopefully ...Someone else may benefit from this list in the future.

So here's what I have so Far:

1. Wiring Harness  CHECK

7. Fuse Holder      CHECK

FreeBooter,

Thanks for choosing the PAMCO ignition system, but you will not need condensers with it.

YEp! Still building...Been workin almost 40+ overtime hours per paycheck and with Christmas around the corner have put a lot of projects on hold.

HEre she is as of a few days ago..Not much has changed.

I did put the megaphones on to try them out and looks like I'm likely going with a 4 to one anyway so they may just get sold..NEVER been used!

Tried my hand at wrapping..not sure I'm into the look though.

Got My carbs back from GnarleyCharlie and I'm pleased as punch..can;t wait to put them on again.

So there ya go...

Still go lots to add on...BUT OH SOOOOooooo CLose.

Hey thanks...I actually bought one of his polished bracket sets and ended up not using it (I do that a lot). I DID use the spacers when adding my mini speedo and tach though (I think). I Also have those two NEVEr used reverse megaphone exhaust tips  too. I'm going to end up getting one of Carpy's earlier 4-1 units instead.

Just ordered the New wiring Harness and PAMCO ignition kit so starting the electrical this month.

Re: FREE BOOTER's CB750 K5-Question about Exhaust clearance. Thinkin Yoshi Type.
« Reply #269 on: February 19, 2012, 04:27:25 PM »
So Question is: Will The Carpy Yoshi Style exhaust fit with the rear foot rests I have and the Dresda type Swingarm.
Also, (another question) Has anyone toyed with the idea of adding a muffler (A large muffler) to one?

Gday FB, the swingarm won't foul the pipes mate, Rear footrests? standard or rearsets ?  should be fine with both...
I have considered a muffler or can on the yoshi, never got any further with that idea though... I have the stainless version of those pipes... ;)

Booter, i would move those rear pegs up a couple of inches mate, they look like the pillion's feet will get in the way of yours with those rear sets mate, then the pipe will also fit no problems... There used to be aftermarket pegs that bolted to the rear down tube, raising up the pillions feet....

Are you referring to the angle of the rear sets? They are not fixed to their correct position in those images...they are just dangling loose.
