I could get behind that rainbow set, if it only had a green on in there somewhere.  I like green.

Replacement filters would be available thru ITG if required?

These are being made by ITG, exclusively for myself.  So I will be handling replacement 'parts'.  That said, the filter with proper care should / could last indefinitely.

Good question! Can I just buy the filter?

If by 'filter' you mean the foam & back plate parts (no stack holes), this is something I will be doing, but not until after the 1st orders are shipped.

Awesome photo shop job there man. I definitely will go for a yellow set....after getting some data. I'm sure I haven't missed any posting about the test trial going on. So, I still await said trial's results. Anxiously. Anxiously waiting.

Didn't get to use this setup in CA, but did put it on the bike today.  Did a quick test start so I can do a video tomorrow. ;D

Something I just thought of, the "sharp" edges for the boot holes, they don't dig into boots at all do they?  Seems like with excessive movement they could dig into the rubber a bit much?

Or am I just being stupid?

Are you referring to the stack holes in the back plate?  The sealing ring(s) on the stack are very snug, there is virtually no movement, and a tight seal.  In addition, engine vibration is being absorbed by the stack body.

Is this possible? I am not saying that I can do your set-up better. I just don't need it for stock Honda carbs! Thanks!

The long and short is yes.  However not until after initial orders are filled, and I see what I have left.  That said, I receive them with an un-drilled back plate, so any order like your requesting would include the blank plate.  And no, I don't have any idea of what the price would be. ;) :)

Yeah, what Brian said, plus, the rubber boots are much thicker at the sealing ring end than OEM Honda items, so that's definitely not a concern, not that I've ever seen an OEM airbox do any damage to the sealing rings on the OEM boots either.

I had a problem last ride I did on my K1 with Brian's "Anti Pod" installed, I missed a gear (3rd to 4th) at high RPM, which resulted in a slight loss of power, but more worryingly, a loud rattle in the top end. Oh no........

Last night I hunted for the source of the top end rattle, and was relieved to find that it was a loose lock-nut on my #3 inlet valve. Woohoo! I re-adjusted the clearances, and happily, no more rattles! While I was at it, I decided to install bigger main jets as it has been running quite lean with 120's and the "Anti-Pod".

I've got a set of 132.5's somewhere, but couldn't find them. Poop. Hmmnnn, but I did have a 1.5mm drill bit and a heap of old 105 jets, so I thought, why not? I set four of them up in my lathe and drilled them all out, then installed them. (spilling just enough gas on my engine to make the silver paint run, fcuk it!)

Anyway, I fired it up, and, well, FARK! It absolutely screams up to the redline and sounds wicked! I'm a tad worried that 150 mains may be too rich under load though, so I think I'll get a 1.4mm drill bit (or better still, a proper set of jet drills) and experiment a bit with some more old jets. The driveway was blocked with cars, and it was getting late, so I only rode it around the back yard, but when I attempted an impromptu burnout on the concrete path, I swear the front wheel started to come up!

The downside was that my wife saw me doing it and scolded me mercilessly, (I tried to tell her that my hand slipped off the clutch lever, but she wasn't buying it) and Felix, my woosy little black cat, jumped the fence and hid under my neighbors house, and wouldn't come out for over 2 hours! Man, was I in the doghouse! Oh well, it was probably worth it........  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Terry, how is it working at the smaller throttle openings?  This seems to be the tough area's of tuning when you get rid of the stock airbox and is the whole point of my interest in the anti-pod.
If it works good, it looks good...

Thanks Guys, well of course I haven't ridden it any distance since I upped the mains so it's hard to say how it'll go with sustained throttle openings at any particular RPM, but it was nice and steady with the 120's down low, but awful over say, 4000 RPM? Not surprising though, considering how lean it was then. Hopefully I'll get it out again this weekend with a couple of different sized sets of main jets so I can compare the differences. Cheers, Terry. ;D

A quick update on the delivery front.  The filter metal work is done, and it is expected that they will begin making the foam elements later next week.  Seems my order is held up slightly, while they completed one for the Renault F1 team. :)

Not worried about the quality though (from ITG email) "The guys that will be building the filters are currently working through a large Renault F1 order..."
