Is it too early to nominate TinTop?  My guess is that he'll decline the nom until everything's done, but maybe it'll be all finished by Jan. :)

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

He certainly deserves it, what with his perseverance after almost cutting his hand off and all.......

Going through the build thread, it looks close enough to finished to me.  Are we ever finished?  I bet MCRider will find something else to do when he says he is finished.   ;D

Build thread here.

I'm humbled Syscrush by your nomination, and here I thought you didn't like my mirrors. ;) ;D  Given the quality of FunJimmy's bike, his 2nd is also greatly appreciated.  You are however, as you suggested, about one month early with your nom.  The rules require that it be declared 'finished' (for now :)), so I must decline.

There are still 14 things on the 'To Do' list, the last being to take it for a ride.  With winter here, it will be very, very short.

This will of course, turn out to be the worst decision I could make, given the quality of the bikes on this forum. ;) :)  Thank you for the consideration.

And I thank you for that TipperT.  A Mod's blessing on this forum, it could be argued, carries more weight than the Pope's. ;) :)

If I had felt that it would 'rideable' by the middle of this month, when nominations close..... ::)    However, with the holidays coming, family, and other  commitments, and the time lost(:(); that will take me into early January.  So yes, maybe next month, should someone wish to put forward a nom.

tweakin's bike is one of my favorites. I would like to nominate it for the voting. I know it was up in September but it is a quality build that I think deserves a place as BOTM.

I will second the nomination. I have seen it in person and pictures do it no justice. He may not accept the nomination because he is finishing up his lastest round of mods but we will see. Definately BOTM worthy!

since TinTop declined hopefully my nomination still counts...

Thanks guys, I am honored by the nomination.

I have to decline like BWJ stated since I am in the process of the second round of mods, but don't forget about me once it is completed "again".

Wow, that bike is/was great the way it was/is. I can't wait to see when you are done "again". Takes guts to change a good thing. Reminds me of funjimmy. Heck we know what round two was for him. Keep up the good work.

I need to look a bit.  I am still exhausted from BOTY, lol.

It seems like y'all do not mind me throwing out suggestions, thanks for that.

I will add that it is ok to re-nominate a BOTM contender again if they did not win but we wait a month.  This was voted upon by the members and the vote was close.

It is hard on me to run the BOTM/BOTY becuase of all the great bikes that get put up on here.  I want one of these for myself and build it my way - got sooooo many ideas.  That's right, I do not own one of these, the wife got it, lol.  Pickin's are slimmer than slim down here.
