I can do that....Not sure what time the group will be leaving here on Sat..... I would figure that it is going to be about a two-2.5 hour ride there. We are planning on the QS&L on Chestnut Ave. aren't we?  When did you want to get started out of sharon? How long is your leg across PA?

Ray, I was hoping to get to QS&L about noon, so that we have a couple hours to meet, greet, and eat. Yes, the QS&L in downtown Sharon.

I'm planning on meeting up in Cleveland Friday, too. My buddy Dan is probably going to ride along on his 85 Moto Guzzi California. We will ride to Sharon, probably spend the night there, and ride home Sunday morning. How long do you guys plan to be at POC? My tank was at the painters, my damn decals didn't get here in time (14 days since order today). Painter is a great guy, shot a couple coats of clear over the paint and gave it back to me, said he will apply the decals and sand and buff when I get back.

What time is everyone planning on meeting up? I can get my day job off but I might not be able to find someone to fill in for me at my second job. That would only allow me to stay out until about 7pm Friday and Saturday.

I guess it depends on when Popwood and Masterchief750 come into town. Meeting at the Pride of Cleveland Scooter Shop on the west side.  They both have my number and can call me when they leave Toledo and give an estimate of when they think they will show up. I can then give you and John D a call for the heads up. See if you can get Friday night off.... then you can possibly attend the vintage bike nights in Willoughby. There may be some there that would like to tag along on the ride. Are you available to ride to Sharon PA on Sat?

MC750.... Not to worry on the speeding.....Most of the roads we will be on are secondary roads and not the superhighways. We all should stay within the 5 mph of the posted and all will be well. How does it look for you on the PA handoff? Is that still a go for you?

Popwood, Are you planning on heading back to Cin after Cleve. or are you planning on going farther? Just so we know.

John D, are you still planning on making the trip to Sharon?

MyHondas, I'll be heading back to Cincy on Saturday am. Adding that much more time to Sharon and then back to Cincy is more than I want to tackle. I'm no Jerry or Scondon!

Question, if we're at a vintage bike thing Friday evening would it be better to get a hotel room nearer Willoughby rather than on west side of Cleveland? And if so, suggestions?? I'm not at all familiar with Cleveland. Appreciate your suggestions.

You definitely should stay within 5 miles over the limit.  No on down here went over the speed limit. 

by the way... my mileage really drops over 80 MPH

Sandusky, OH 44870 . and how about noon for the time. its an 1:20 from my place so if i get home by 10 i can grab a quick shower and we will rock out 1030-11 which puts us there about noon with some flexibility

Yes, Ill meet Masterchief in Sandusky at noon and ride in. I agree on the hotel, if you end up on the east side, stay there, otherwise, a 45 min backtrack.  Just let us all know for the Sat kickoff time and place to Sharon!

Ok guys, I am still waiting for the approval from the hall of fame for our photo op. It will either be on Fri. Afternoon or Sat. morn.  I figure we should plan on hitting the road between 10+11am to get us into Sharon around 12:30-1:30pm and meet up with 05c50. 15 inches of rain in western NY this spring, looks like we are getting a break for this weekend.  Went to the R R HOF (underwhelmed)last weekend, rained every inch of the way there and back. Did a trip to Willoughby last summer with Dan, he wanted to visit a Moto Guzzi dealer there, vintage bike night sounds good. My Harley riding buddies think I'm nuts, this will be more miles than some of them ride all summer, LMAO.

Looks good. Spades and Modz not going all the way north so far as I know. I meeting MC750 in Findlay and will cruise Toledo. I'm going on to Sandusky to overnight so meet there on Friday.

For Cleveland Friday night, any recommendations on a Hotel that makes sense around this vintage bike meeting, assuming that's still on the itinerary. Saw a Comfort Inn on Reynolds Rd but they want $114. Hoping for something less, but still clean and safe. Want to wake up Sat with my bike still there.

It's official ! I'm in! 

I got someone to fill in at both jobs this weekend! Since we are meeting up after 1pm I will just go to work Friday and leave early. I think a buddy of mine wants to ride along too. He will be on a Honda Shadow A.C.E.

I believe that we will meet at POC about 1-1:30pm on Friday. Between POC and the around the corner bar/grill probably 3-3 hours or more. Due to be at the RRHOF for our photo op around 4:30-5pm ( I will have a more concrete time Thursday from their office.  They really don't like vehicles in the patio in front of their entrance. When they do allow it, it is usually set up months in advance and done on a slow period. This Sat and Sun is one of their busiest weekends and they just opened their new exhibit of "women in rock", so the fact they they are giving us 15-20 min. to do our thing is really amazing.
I hope someone has a good digital camera. All mine decided to go on vacation without me  so I only have my 8mp camera in my cell phone and my mini DVR video camera mounted on the K4's handlebars.
