Looks Legit to me....heck...those acorn nuts speak for its structural integrity

Not to mention the patina that the primer gives the overall aesthetic feel of the piece...especially on the threads of the pipe hanger mount

When I had my 77 Goldwing, I would have killed for any kind of fork brace. Noone seem to make them for us. I know there are nicer looking clamps out there, but designhas some merit. As long as you don't totally depend on it and use it as a add–on for a little more stability, should be okay?

HA! Hey Godd - you make some for the 750 and'or 550. I know you have suggested the ones from FFTP, but I think you could come up with a better design.

I have often thought about it, but I just don't have the capital for tooling costs.

Except the exhaust clamp being a redneck touch - it is not a bad solution. Maybe weld the brace to the clamp bottoms to make it more rigid instead of those 1/4" bolts there?

Thats an american beast machine, driven by the invasive tweezed eyebrow, douche-nozzle tool bag. If one ever encounters a tweezed eyebrow, douche-nozzle tool bag in the wild, it is recommended to avoid eye contact as it will be perceived as either a threat or flattery. If you get another WW GL1000 you can get the Superbrace for it through Randakk's. It ain't cheap though, $195 I think.

I got mine from a member at the Naked Goldwing Club. When I sold the Wing a couple months ago I kept the brace and sold it to a member here for $125

Before anyone says anything about the bug motor, here in Mass, anything with 3 wheels is considered a motorcycle. I had so many questions but never saw the owner.

Since we are posting 3 wheelers. This one was designed and manufactured in the early '80's by my best friend's dad. After his untimely death from cancer around 1986 the company was bought by Harley Davidson and promptly disappeared.

It's front wheel drive and uses a Citroen air cooled flat 4 and 5-speed. They are a ball to drive and handle really well. I got to drive a turbo prototype many years ago and it was very fast, as it should be weighing in at around 1,500 lbs if I recall correctly.

And I don't consider it an abomination, it is actually a pretty cool looking little car, but very 80's.

I had a few of the OHC Citroen flat fours. (there was something of a pattern, VW Beetle's, Citroen's, Alfa Romeo 'AlfaSud's')
Incredible motors but the hydraulic suspension was a pain to keep working
