My fourth loves motorcycles.  I am not inclined to advocate divorce, but like war, it is sometimes necessary.

Did you list your bike or someone come up to you on the streets?

He came up to me on the street after seeing me take off from a stoplight.

He followed me about 3 blocks to Harbor Freight and offered in the parking lot. We went down the street to his bank and he tried to get the cash, called his wife to come pick up the bike and she went ape#$%*e over the phone!

One theme from reading the posts is that anyone who has had their motorcycle since it was new is very reluctant to part with it.

Another theme is the Mrs.  My wife with the help of my mother-in-law tried to get me to sell mine for the first 15 years of our marriage.  (Mother-in-law was involved as it was stored in her garage for 25 years).  I just said if I sold it I would be tempted to buy another one ... it actually worked  ;D,.

Since this is the first bike I have done more than a "cleaning up" to, it would take quite a bit. I'd probably let it go for 4 to 5 k, but only if I already had another bike in the stable.

My wife is pretty liberal when it comes to this addiction, she knows this is what really keeps me sane.

It is just metal and money. If I am offered to much I take it and get another.
PS: I am fickle, I'll ride anything that will start.

I recently restored and sold a 750 K5 for $6000 to a local collector. It had 13,xxx miles on it. I Couldnt have done it without you lot, so now I have to figure out how to size pics to get them on here properly and post the project to share.
My other 2 bikes are 750 K 3's, the untitled parts bike I would take $500, the other is my baby-cakes and life wouldnt be worth living without tending to the rolling project that it is.

3500 could fix a lot of wrongness on that bike...
