I've been hearing it's the 30th. I hope that's true because I'm planning for that day.
I might also check out that Oyster Run this year too.

I'll be there on my 550- I've gone the last 4 years but this is the first time I've seen people posting the wrong date on C/L to hide the real date.  It's a great event but I wish they could somehow restrict it to vintage bikes only- too many new sportbikes & Harleys in my opinion.

They try to keep it secret to reduce the number of modern bikes but it always leeks.

Seaweb, here are some photo's from the 2006 Isle of Vashon I found online. Hopefully you can find them insperational.

I went last year, but didn't do the poker run or attend any of the festivities at the "Sportsmans Club". I took the 9:30 ferry from west Seattle, rode up into downdtown vashon and watched the bikes roll into town. Spent some time walking around admiring some of the bikes and talking to some folks. Then took off for my own day of riding.

I'm sure it's not as cool as Sturgis but I bet it's a close second. I did Sturgis on '07 and it was cool but it didn't have the vintage presence that Vashon will have. The wife and I are heading out from our place in N Seattle around 8-8:30am to hopefully catch a ferry around 9-ish. I figure a lot of meeting up will be in line at the ferry.

Disregard the terrible music, they're not my photos. I'll post some of my photo's later on this evening if I can manage to find some time.

Here is the link to the photo's I took:

Another great event this year, heard WSDOT Ferries counted about 3,000 bikes, some really nice vintage stuff as well as quite a few Harley's & sportbikes.

Nice,I will be available that day.
On a similar but different topic, have you heard anything about the Mods vs Rockers that the Cretins put on?

Doesn't sound like it will happen this year, haven't asked any of the members lately, but will post it up here if it does.

To bad, we had fun last year. I'm probably going to their party after the VME next week.
