I know people from that show probably cruise these forums, and I'm sorry if I offend. That said, the show is #$%*ing awful.
It's so ADD I keep thinking I'm sitting on my channel changer button. Do you ever finish ANYTHING or do you just

Stop watching it

+1

I don't think it's just a coincidence that I've never watched the show and have also never been pissed off by it.  When it comes to commercial interests, the only real vote you have is to either pay attention or not pay attention.  Even if you're watching and don't like it, you're still paying attention and still supporting it.  Posting your thoughts on the internet is just a bonus for the show, regardless of your opinion of it.

ditto...

I was hoping for better.

I waited for them to show bikes, more bikes,  I don't give a #$%* about the Ace, Rocker 59 etc. anymore.  I get it.

Final straw, was indeed, when the #$%*s cut up the 69.

I agree they should finish a story line quicker.

I wish they would show more normal guys building bikes for themselves. Like DIY has renovation realities. normal people working on their house. I dont need to see some builder with 500,000 dollars in tools building a bike.

What does Billy Joel think? I think we should all make tech video clips with some humor for youtube and let everyone know how cool it is to own a SOHC and work on it.

I saw the first series and thought it was crap, well, not so much the show, just the bikes and the dickheads who built them, I've never seen such crap, it really made "Biker buildoff" and "American chopper" look good.

Having said that, I'm waiting to see the second series so I can make fun of it some more.  ;)
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I have watched every show. The way they cut and re-cut the same footage I'm convinced they only have 30 minutes of total programming. The Brian Fuller segment was total crap...........he needs to stick with cars. The cafe/street fighter Ducati.........what the heck was that! All that a side...it did get me interested in my CB750 project. Thus I'm working on a bike that will be a conversation starter at a CMA booth or on the road. Most folks don't take much notice of my new Goldwing. This is the wrong forum for this but I have my eyes open for that just right Norton Commando.

You better not be thinking about cutting up a commando mate, that's worthy of a public lynching and picnic day in some parts.............  ;D

I found many clips from season 1 on YouTube...
A few were interesting.
like this one...
http://youtu.be/yQxkWBwIreY
but then I came across a few that were really bad.
and then the one with the crash.
after that I've concluded yeah the show really sucks...
I'm glad I didn't have to stretch that out over a whole TV season and instead got it all in one evening of bootleg youtube clips.
I laughed at the joke... and now it's just not funny anymore.

I don't think half of these "professional" builders could restore or build using what most of us use. In my case hand me down tools from my old man and sale items from harbor freight. Going to the back room to look for brand new parts is a fantasy world.

Most folks rebuild their SOHC's with brains and passion, rather than 'tools and tats'... thankfully.

i watched one episode, then started feeling embarassed that my 400 is in the style of a cafe racer. if anyone asks what my bike is now is say its a STREET RACER.

it just seems like the knobs that built choppers decided to have a go at something different, but used the same god awful principles of awful paint, chrome everything and too much money.
