Don't worry about bracing the frame, these are really quite good as is. A fork brace is a good idea though. I doubt a rear hoop so far from the shock mounts adds more strength than the original hoop either. I'm sure you'll enjoy the extra juice!

Thanks Brent.

Got the Tarozzi fork brace and my braced arm. The shock crossbar is going to stay, since I don't feel like doing powdercoat again for a while :P

Better picture of the engine in-frame. Got all the bolts torqued up.

Man that's pretty, I could just sit back and look at that by itself for a little while.

Are you mounting Tarozzi rearsets on your passenger peg mounts?

Thanks guys.

Yes, The Tarozzis will go back on. They mount to the tube the passenger footpeg bracket is on, and the back part of the rearset mounts to the hole in the footpeg bracket.

Swingarm and shocks on. Taken with my other camera (Nikon D40 with a 35mm f1.8, bought it so I wouldn't have to borrow my girl's camera all the time). My other pics were taken with my girl's camera (Canon T2i with a 50mm f1.8, bought it for her for her birthday).

I'm getting very antsy in my panties for mine!

Dimitri, are you planning on running side covers or did you just not want to detab the frame for restoration purposes?

Yes and yes. The only thing on the frame that was removed is the seat mount, and that's only because I couldn't get my seat to sit flat.

Don, that's the exact words that were about to roll out of my mouth! While the bike is extremely pretty so far, the backdrop makes it the prettiest build ever! Not fair to the rest of us slugs who have to snap pics in the abandoned warehouse district to go up against that skyline  :'(

Okay. You don't need to watch it, but here's the premise:

Private Investigator Thomas Sullivan Magnum resides in the guest house of a posh, 200-acre (0.81 km2) beachfront estate, known as Robin's Nest, in Hawaii, at the invitation of its owner, Robin Masters, the celebrated-but-never-seen author of several dozen lurid novels.  He gets to live FOR FREE in the guest house of a multi-million dollare beachfront estate, AND DRIVE A FREE FERRARI 308GTS, while taking on work as a private investigator.  Not a bad existence!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnum,_P.I.

In reality, Robin's Nest is a private residence owned by local Hawaiian politician Eve Glover Anderson, who is the stepdaughter of Cox Communications heiress Barbara Cox Anthony, the wealthiest Hawaiian resident until her death on May 28, 2007.  The Anderson Estate is located on the east shore of Oahu at 41-505 Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) near Waimanalo Beach.  It was built in the early 1930s, and comprises a large main house, a boathouse (which in the series appears as the guest house that Magnum occupies), a gatehouse, a private tennis court, a beach front and the tidal pool.
