I've been drinking a lot of Fat Yak lately. That's what work gives us, so it's free, cold, and better than Carlton Draught.

I've also been enjoying Coopers (red label), White Rabbit dark ale, XX Amber, Mountain Goat Steam Ale, and whatever gets put in front of me. Most Aussie beers are better than American beers. I like my micro brews in the US, but you can't get them here in Oz. If you could I'd hate to see the price. The beers I mentioned above cost $15-20 a 6 pack!

a quick google shows a u brew it at keilor park radam,,a bit far away,,funny how when a subject is spoken about things happen,,i just pulled these two cornelius kegs of the top of a skip bin i picked up,they were still partly full,,i emptied them at the dump and boy did that smell good at 9AM!id love to have a tap at home but i find canning convienient,maybe one day,,i sold these kegs already to the guy who owns the u brew it i go to.

The difference between beer made in Wisconsin and beer made in Illinois is like the difference between a bad drawing of Superman, and Superman himself. I make regular trips to Kenosha to buy New Glarus. Three Floyds is just IPA's on steroids and Goose Island is average. Flatlanders just don't make great beer.

Oddly enough when I drink just whatever, its Hamm's or Simpler Times. I do like the fast, cheap stuff.

Dave, my wife and I had 6 of those kegs before we sold everything to move. Using kegs is way easier than bottling, and you get to have your home brew on tap.

but when i do drink beer it's either Landshark or Old Milwaukee in the red can (mmmmmmmmmmmm good)

heineken at the moment but my fav is stella artois... been really enjoying leinenkugel's sunset wheat... its kinda like blue moon but instead of oranges its blue berry i think .... awesome if you like wheat beers

for those of you who like IPAs try arrogant bastard ale... its real hoppy
my work(a bar grill) has this barley wine(very sweet) beer on tap called gulden draak its interesting and strong

I used to think the same thing, i don't drink "heavy beer any more for health reasons, i tried a lot of light beers and most were like old dish water, then i found Cascade light, very nice light beer with a "heavy" beer taste... Aussie made of course...

I think Cascade is brewed in Tasmania here, we used tio have a beer called Brisbane bitter which was more affectionately known as "Brisbane river"....

{i think the river tasted better}...
